Let's see now - The Democraps had an overwhelming majority in both Houses of the Congress last year, the entire year. Now with two months with a supposed new majority in the house, they want two more weeks to resolve a continuing resolution that they didn't have the guts to do before the last election.

The ship is going down, yet even a sum as paltry as $60 billion in cuts is somehow so unimaginable that we need a two-week patch on the budget to give us extra time to weigh whether we should do it. We’re truly doomed. Pretty much sums it up.
