One of the 14 Wisconsin senators who has been hiding out in Illinois with his Democratic colleagues says protesters have discovered the hotel where many of the lawmakers are staying.
State Sen. Chris Larson said Tuesday that the senators were trying to keep their locations a secret because they were concerned for their safety. For example, he said, someone e-mailed him threatening to burn down his house.
Larson was speaking by cell phone Tuesday when protesters pulled up in front of his hotel. He said he and his fellow Democrats would likely move, although he wasn't sure whether that meant going to a different hotel or a different city.
The Democrats left the state Thursday to prevent a vote on a Republican Gov. Scott Walker's sweeping bill that would limit unions' collective bargaining
Here in the peoples democratik republik of michiganstan, we have a website that auctions off government surplus....here is the plan (snicker, snicker, snicker) go to their offices and take all the furniture, and list it on the state website. Then, take some of the old beat up furniture that us regular people use, and stack that in their offices. Then, eliminate all monies for office refurb and supplies from their individual budgets. Since they are AWOL, their staff is no longer needed. Fire entire staff, and put money in a fund to help the teachers that missed school to protest...of course, cancel all credit cards, and delete expense accounts. Deduct costs for this from their pay...
I'll bet the Daley machine has arranged for each of the flea-ing Wisconsin legislators to pop into an out-of-the-way polling place to vote for Rahm.
It's just the hospitable Chicago Way.

So...those people (Adolf Hitler, Saddam Hussein, Osama bin Laden) were under threat of death, so they ran and hid. We can therefore conclude the sign is threatening the WI senators with death. Before you say "Affirming the Consequent," tell me what the sign is trying to do otherwise, except perhaps convey an implied Hasty Generalization?
And don't forget the accusations that George W. Bush abandoned his duties by fleeing to military bases instead of returning directly to the White House after the 9/11 attacks.
It definitely seems like a infiltrator sign, other than its format being similar to others.
Is it possible these cowardly, spineless, scumbag dems have had their personal livelihoods threatened by the union thugs and that’s part of the reason they are running away in a pack? Just a thought.
The sign holder was implying the Wisconsin 14 are cowards, just like Osama, Hitler, and Hussein. Don’t read into the sign more than is there. Sometimes the simplest explanation is the correct one.
So I'm guessing they are trying to find a quiet spot in De Kalb, or circling back round towards Rockford.
