Government has become so controlling, it's down right frightening..

Meanwhile, tens of millions enter this country illegally, while these same government politicians sit around figuring out how to make us pay for them and subsidize their heath care...

Ok I think this stupid legislation.
However last year a co workers wide had experience that is both amusing and enlightening.
She was in parking lot speed less than 20 mph, dog is sitting in middle of back seat, unrestrained.
Wife is cut off by car illegally cutting thru lot, she stops suddenly. Pooch is launched off backseat between two front seats smacks into windshield.
Breaks windshield from inside.
Wife chases car down and blocks it into parking space, occupants take off while wife is calling cops. They run into strip mall store, when cops arrive, wife is able to identify driver.
Driver is illegal, no license, no insurance, she goes to the pokey.
Dog goes to the vet, just addled brained, but my co worker indicates dog was that way anyways, dog is normal after 1 day, still goofy as ever.
Windshield is replaced, dog is restrained now when ever in car.

I do not believe that needs to be a law, just common sense. Loose objects, people, pets, tools or what ever will continue to move when a vehicle stops. Basic physics.

Co workers wife learned valuable lesson without serious injury to herself or her pet.
