Law prof calls on House to investigate eligibility
WND ^ | March 01, 2011 | Bob Unruh

A professor emeritus at the Law School of Notre Dame says he doesn't know whether Barack Obama "achieved election by misrepresenting, innocently or by fraud, his eligibility for that office."

But Charles E. Rice, who has authored "What Happened to Notre Dame?" said the U.S .House of Representatives should be the leaders stepping forward to resolve the question.

"The House of Representatives is an appropriate body to inquire into the facts and legal implications of a president's disputed eligibility for office," he wrote on his blog, called The Steady Drip," today.

"The House itself has a contingent but potentially decisive role in the election of a president," he wrote.

The issue of Obama's eligibility has been disputed since before his election. Hawaiian officials earlier said they have seen Obama's documentation but they have not revealed what it says – although new Gov. Neil Abercrombie was unsuccessful in his announced plan to find and produce the state's documentation about the birth.

"Taking that into account, I think it is more than fair to tell him, show us EVERYTHING. He is supposed to work for us. Doesn’t it seem right that he would provide his documentation then?"

Tell Congress to do it's job:

Congress is Responsible For the Eligibility Fiasco

I can tell what it is, it’s a pernicious liar who has an agenda to ‘radically transform America by redistributing EVRY THING he and his socialist/commie henchghouls can infect. You listen to the men barry the bastard appoints to positions and listens to and draws advice from, they ALL every one lie like water off a ducks back! They know they’re lying but they believe it serves their agenda to end the American Republic so they do it with glee in their evil hearts. This thing in the Oval Office is just one more like the commie scum he appoints and directs. ... And it is poison, pure, demonic, poison.

...why doesn't the guy do what Chrissse Matthew did ( and hasn't mentioned since)..call for Obama to voluntarily release all his records...
The source article is linked at reply 13 so you can see what Dr. Rice said yourself. In the mean time...

Perhaps there is nothing to the issues raised. Or perhaps there is. This is potentially serious business. If it turns out that Obama knew he was ineligible when he campaigned and when he took the oath as President, it could be the biggest political fraud in the history of the world. As long as Obama refuses to disclose the records, speculation will grow and grow without any necessary relation to the truth. The first step toward resolving the issue is full discovery and disclosure of the facts.

I believe in a heaven and hell and on this earth there are people who are used in the service of both.

Obama is working overtime for the later.

All the damage he has done from within in two years could not have been accomplished from outside in 100 years.

But he didn’t lie, he was right up front all along. he said he was going to radically transform America and he meant it.
Just not in a good way.

>Tell Congress to do it’s job:<

As I have said before, that will not happen. Too many republicans were in office that SHOULD have done something when they had the chance to begin with during McCains confirmation.

It would have been a very simple and correct thing to at that time to ask for Obama to go through the same senate hearing that McCain did. OR they could have objected that he did not.
But since they didn’t at the time, it would be admitting that they dropped the ball back then and are afraid of the back lash.

Imagine if you will, that tomorrow congressional hearings are held and Obama is found to have been ineligible this entire time. Now we have a constitutional crisis because of all the crap he has done. All the bills he has signed, the treaties, the budgets, the appointments etc etc etc.

People are going to look at the democrats in a bad light for certifying Obama, but then look at the republicans in just as bad a light for allowing this and not stopping it sooner.

Please, do not misunderstand me. I WISH that they would go after him like yesterday. I wish every day that Issa comes up with something. Or a judge rules to hear his eligibility. Or that his social security issue catches up with him using fraudulent numbers.

But I do not see republicans that are currently in office intentionally tossing themselves in front of the bus saying “we allowed this to happen”. they might as well shoot themselves in the foot first and look for sympathy votes.

I wrote to my congressman who is a newly elected republican, that defeated a blue dog. But i expect that he is
1. overwhelmed with the new position and amount of correspondence and problems.
2. too junior to even think about bringing up this issue and hoping to have any career afterwards.

I wish there were more options :(

Prof. Rice is trying to redeem the soul of Notre Dame which was dirtied when Father Jenkins stooped to honor Obama. I wish him luck, but I think ND is too far gone.

Exactly. The only sane course for the country will be if Obama leaves office in such a way as to render the issue of his eligibility moot.
