Book's going OK - I've run into some ideas and some writers in the last few months that have required some careful thought - and re-reading. To cite a couple, Icarus Fallen and The Unlearned Lessons of the Twentieth Century by Chantal Delsol are nothing short of amazing. Especially the latter volume, which more fully develops the themes and ideas presented in the first one. Insights and ideas fairly leap off the pages of The Unlearned Lessons of the Twentieth Century. I have never made as many notes nor tabbed as many pages in a book as I have in theis one.

Another more difficult to digest writer is the late Australian philosopher David Stove. A selection of his works is available in a volume published as Against the Idols of the Age. Now that I've read it, I would buy the book for two sections alone (Sabotaging Logical Expressions and Paralytic Epistemology), where he exposes the con game played with language by some modern thinkers in their pursuit of the destruction and denigration of Western culture. But those two short sections provide one with powerful and devastating weapons against the idols of our age.

Given the rate at which events are proceeding, I wonder if the chance to publish anything will be there in a few more months. Degringolade is happening - now. Be prepared. Be prepared for war and savagery.

“Personal Income As a National Resource”

A nicely phrased concept. Part of the puzzle of what goes on in the Leftist mind.

The only way we can survive this is to get rid of all socialists/liberals. Their plans clearly want to get rid of us if they cannot control us to the nth degree.

It is sad to say this. You can’t reach hardcore socialists that think the best thing they can do is take your money because you’re not using it the way they say you must. Or are not doing any number of things they think you must.

You are exactly right. Their view of man is of a sacrificial animal with no right to exist for his own sake. That his purpose is to serve others.

All of my life I have struggled to try to understand liberals. I believed what they said, that they wanted the best for mankind. They were for the little guy, and their purpose was the good of the people. I just thought they were wrong about the way to get there. But at the same time I couldn’t understand how they could fail to see the devastation brought about by their policies every place they have been tried. Then I realized they couldn’t fail to see. I had been assuming all along that they had the good as their motivation but what if they didn’t? Then the pieces fell into place and let me tell you my hair literally stood on end and a chill ran down my spine. Suddenly their hatred of Capitalism, of producers, the oil companies, Sarah Pallin and their rabid support for abortion and their simultaneous opposition to the death penalty for murderers made total sense.

There is a scene in TOMBSTONE between Wyatt Earp and Doc Holiday that sums up liberals to a tee. (Paraphrasing)

Wyatt: What makes a man like Ringo do the the things he does?

Holiday: People like Ringo got a big hole right through the middle of them, and they can never kill enough or steal enough to fill it.

Earp: What is he after?

Holiday: Revenge.

Earp: Revenge......Revenge for what?

Holiday: Being born.

People like Michael Moore, President Obama, Cass Sunstien, Van Jones, Bill Ayers and Saul Alinsky are not motivated by love for their fellow man but by a profound hatred. If Michael Moore truly believed what he said he would be the first to donate all of his money to the needy. I probably misspelled some of the names above but I don’t care. I can no longer even consider people like Michael Moore as Human. I apologize for rambling on but these kinds of statements make me livid.

I listened to Michael Moore’s comments and noticed that his primary cognitive flaw is that he can’t distinguish “money” from “wealth”. He is a walking example of the old saw about how petty people know the cost of everything, but the value of nothing. He then tosses in a little “collectivist” commie rhetoric and class warfare to make it sound legitimate. But Moore’s an intellectual moron.

I bookmarked those two authors, thanks. I've fallen a bit behind again in my reading so won't be purchasing at the present. (Although the Delsol The Unlearned Lessons of the Twentieth Century item may tempt me sooner rather than later.)

"Degringolade" - I had to look that one up, it means what I expected it to mean; and I agree (sadly). In spite (or perhaps, because) of the 2010 election results, it seems to me that the rate of (negative) change is increasing. The enemy has quickened the pace (which I would have to assume is a result of said 2010 elections).

With each passing day I become more firmly convinced that the role of the media is becoming more and more deadly. Rather than exposing the ruthless lawlessness that is over running our society, it is doing just the opposite (blatant propagandizing, hiding the truth, and distorting coverage of important events). When I think about the relatively small number of my countrymen that are aware of what we are living through, I can't describe how painful the rest of the thoughts are that follow.

I share your concern about getting your book published if it isn't ready anytime soon. However, I am sure that what you have created to date will be of great value to any that survive the great upheaval that is soon upon us.

We've been preparing to the best of our abilities. I think that we have a better than even chance of surviving the initial chaos. Travel to a sustainable community after that will be the real challenge. We will do our best.

You are indeed correct, they want just the opposite. Another poster in this thread has written an excellent essay on these Killers Without Conscience, well worth your time to read.
