The bottom line?

If this is the best the Republicans can do, they might as well concede right now.

That chart is actually a fairly realistic assessment of those names, their pros and cons. You could make against any of them, as to why they could lose. But some could possibly win, and it's too soon to say on some of the others.

I don't have a favorite yet for the nomination. No one jumps out at me, either as the best choice or the most electable. But unless it's a pro-abort (e.g., Giuliani), I'd vote for any of them ahead of Obama.

Obama will poll well because white guilt, socialist stupidity and black racism still affects many of those polled—especially since conservatives are usually too employed and productive to waste time on silly poll participation.
Once inside the voting booth however,TRUE Americans (I hope)will vote TRUE American!

Any of them can beat Obama, who has very weak approval ratings for an incumbent and is now in the process of screwing up the economic recovery with high energy prices and the high costs of Obamacare.

Well, I guess that's it.

It's over and I've saved hundreds if not thousands of dollars in donations and hundreds of hours on the phone and more time hustling literature door to door.

Man, I feel great.

Look at all the time I'm gonna have over the next 20 months to play golf, hunt, fish and never even break a sweat about pissant and his neurotic hatred of Sarah Palin, or Michelle Bachmann or newt or huckleberry.

They can't win, we are going to have another immaculation or ejaculation or eradication or emancipation but we are not going to have an election {or in the dialect of the Chinese an erection}.

We may have a resolution to have a revolution.

Yeah, yeah, I know DeMint SAYS he’s not running.

But he is going to Iowa. Why? Why announce now? He will make his play in the summer.

He will shoot past these others.

DeMint/Bachmann 2012.

Sammy Obammy will be a one termer, of that I am sure. If I were him I would start looking at Libya in a whole new light, the same thing could happen over here. People are growing more tired of his Marxist, my way or the highway, screw America bullcrap by the day.

Obama’s not a natural born citizen. Once this comes out he’s done.

Question is...how do we get the country to realize it when almost the entire media is in his pocket.

Obama’s ratings are, Pro - Inexperienced community organizer, Con - Racist, America-hating, antisemitic Muslim and he got elected. This chart is worthless. Getting elected to the presidency requires ONLY ONE QUALIFICATION. YOU GOTTA HAVE LOTS OF MONEY! The one with the most money wins.

What you are saying is to let them run the show like they did with McCain. If you want to buy that go join the Libs. Instead of throwing our hands up and crying they are winning; let’s really do something about like getting behind a candidate and supporting her/him. Why let them win again? Get rid of the RINOS as well as the Lefties. Don’t agree with either of them. Most of those candidates are there to mess us up.

Why would any intellectual Republican announce now and subject themselves to 20 months of unrelenting pounding from the MSM?

Just ask Huckabee who suffers from I'm John McCain and I'm the One Republican the MSM Loves Syndrome.

The table is from the Economist. The commentary looks more like it’s from Business Insider which has a cache of liberal commentary writers. The CEO and Editor-in-chief, Blodget, was barred from the securities industry (an easy Google search).
