Palin: The GOP's Pelosi?
WaPost ^ | 3/11/11 | Chris Cilliza

Sarah Palin's unfavorable rating has spiked to a new high, adding further fuel to the argument that her presidential campaign may be doomed before it begins.

A new Bloomberg poll shows the former Alaska governor is now viewed unfavorably by 60 percent of American adults. That's higher than any other poll has shown, but it's not even the entire picture.

Of that 60 percent, nearly two-thirds - 38 percent of all adults - say they view the former GOP vice presidential nominee "very unfavorably." No other politicians tested even comes close, including President Obama (22 percent). What's more, Palin's unfavorable rating is more than twice as high as her favorable rating, which rests at just 28 percent. Another 12 percent aren't sure how they feel about her.

The poll follows a long and continuous trend in which, as the presidential race nears, people gradually find that they like Palin less and less.

In fact, the numbers are starting to look a lot like someone else's: House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.).

Except that they are worse.

Urine-aunt, you and chrissy couldn't like Sarah Palin "less and less" if you tried.

I know it makes your day by searching the net until you find the negative Palin story but if it's so bad for Sarah, why do the lefties continue to write the story.

It's over, she's done, the Washington Post just told us so.

That ugly, little, skinny guy that's on msnbc on 9:00 had an on screen orgasm on Tuesday night when he thought that Walker had caved, much like your daily dribbles.

You annoying little piss-aunt.

Let’s have a primary and find out. I, for one, want to know what the true story is here.

Me too.

Reading these posts shows just how well the liberal media’s attack on Sarah Palin has worked. That, and sexism is alive and well.

RE :”Palin is more like a Rush/Hannity figure craving and drawing media attention......I agree. But Rush nor Hannity wouldn't have a chance of winning a Presidential election because they have been too provocative.

Gaaaa.. LOL, making me spit out my drink. Thanks for the laugh:)

Sarah Palin's unfavorable rating has spiked to a new high...

....what poll?

I can't believe that Ms Palin's rating can be "unfavorable" with any sane person.

...the "unfavorable" polls are just the wish list of lunatics...

Washington Post right? Give it a rest.

Here's the poll data [Q & A] and the company that had it done. It wasn't the WP, they are only reporting on the results.

In so many topics including this one, you get these nay-sayers on FR and elsewhere, who aim to bring something or someone down without any well-reasoned and better alternatives.

It's a sort of "Hooray-for-my-side" mentality that, sort of like the GOP itself, begins to exist for its own self perpetuation.

Sadly, all this poll proves is that the Left’s relentless demonization and lies work. It absolutely disgusts me.

I don’t think she craves media attention any more than other politicians. She just has a lot spunk, fight, and energy and therefore she’s very outspoken. Her problem is that the Ameican public doesn’t evaluate candidates nearly as deeply and thoughtfully as it did 30 years ago. Instead people tend to take a quick look at candidates and focus on their style and appearance, because it’s too much effort for many people to really look into their record and achievements. That’s how Obama got elected. Too many voters just focused on his mellow friendly speaking style and didn’t take a long look into his extremely liberal record in the Senate and his radical left-wing beliefs.

That Bloomberg Poll sure is getting a lot of publicity in the Lame Stream Media.

I wonder if they bothered to poll even one real conservative? I doubt it.

There lies work to some extent, but I don’t believe the numbers in this poll.

Anybody who thinks Sarah Palin is the new Dan Quayle doesn’t remember Dan Quayle. (For that matter, not even Dan Quayle was Dan Quayle, at least not the media caricature of him.) And anybody who thinks Sarah Palin is the GOP’s Nancy Pelosi simply isn’t paying attention. Say what you will about her potential as a presidential candidate (I personally say “oh hell yes”), Sarah Palin is not a blithering idiot. Nancy Pelosi is.

The internals on that poll are brutal. 55 percent support Obama - not a figure I've seen from the likes of Gallup or Rasmussen. And political affiliation?

22 Republican
30 Democrat
44 Independent

Plus, 63 percent in the poll disapprove of the Tea Party - right in line with the 60 percent who disapprove of Palin.

Rigged poll.

Oh, and the sample was adults. Not likely voters. Not even registered voters. Just plain adults. And we know how worthless that kind of poll is in politics.

So pissy, you’re pimping the results of a poll where 63 percent of the repondents disapprove of the Tea Party. If you had any integrity, you’d ask the mods to pull this lame-assed thread, because you aren’t just bashing Palin, you’re bashing the Tea Party by pimping this.

Rigged poll.

Possible or very possible an outlier as happens once in a while.
