Why didn’t they just create coolant from water, like the majority of nuclear power plants in the free world?
To: KevinDavis
Can you blame her? Just just read today that the intern that was blowing her husband all the while in the Whitehouse still yearns for him!

When I heard this report, since it was "coolant", it must have been a
liquid sodium cooled core, and the US was replacing the backup supply.
Foggy Bottom strike again.
To: KevinDavis
LMAO!
There is a reason nuke plants are built near water -DUH!
The coolant is already there -no 'bringing' needed!
Hillary has yet again proven she is another clueless yet highly educated leftist bureaucrat.

Well, that is an incredibly low bar. Nothing in this episode changes that, for me.

Damn it. I actually had something nice to say about this administration when I heard Hillary say we’d supplied coolant. I should’ve known better.
To: wku man
In a statement that confused nuclear experts, Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton said Friday morning that U.S. Air Force planes in Japan had delivered "coolant" to a nuclear power plant affected by the quake.
State Department officials later said that Clinton had misspoken. "We understand that ultimately the Japanese government handled the situation on its own," said spokesman Marc Toner.
... and when she said she was named after Sir Edmund Hillary. Look for the union label. Alright, everyone shake your heads in unison.

Nuclear powers failure is DEMOCRAT GAINABC radio news was hammering away at the nuclear-is-dangerous angle a few minutes ago. Said to expect tighter regulations and fewer new reactor startups. Their glee was palpable of course.
To: Ev Reeman
it should have been better prepared for emergencies. I hope you are not slighting the Japanese. There is only so much humans can prepare for these circumstances.

Could this have been misinformation given to her to prevent a 2012 primary challenge from Hillary?
