Doesn’t look like this is going to end well for Gaddafi. If I were him, I’d take note of what happened to Hussein (Saddam, Not Barrack), and make plans to leave. Before leaving, I would destroy every piece of infrastructure I could. I’d go Francisco d’Anconia on the place, particularly the oil facilities. That would have the worst effect on the Western countries. We’ll see.

And I guess when you look up the terrorist attacks, sponsored by these Muslim countries, against the West and Jews throughout the world it amounts to nothing.

I fear that the only real chance Gaddafi has, is to pull off a spectacular raid on US civilian targets. If he could round up a collection of Embassy employees somewhere, or detonate a Western building. Do the hostage thing.

Wouldn’t surprise me a bit. I’m not a huge Steve Tyler fan, but I think he nailed it when he said, “It’s really dangerous for a young man to be able to afford his vices.” It’s also dangerous for the weak-minded, right, Mr. Khadaffy?
