Angry Bachmann Unloads: Obama’s a Hypocrite—Dems Plan to Shut Down Govt
Newsmax ^ | 3/31/11 | Jim Meyers and Ashley Martella

Congresswoman and tea party leader Michele Bachmann tells Newsmax she will flat-out refuse to support any budget bill that does not include the defunding of President Obama’s healthcare reform plan.

The Minnesota Republican, who is considering a run for president in 2012, also charges that Democrats are playing “political games” by seeking to shut down the government in the belief they would benefit politically.

And she declares that Obama has to “eat his words” uttered three years ago when he said a president has no power to take the same action the Obama administration has taken in Libya.

Democrats in the Senate have proposed $33 billion in spending cuts, while House Republicans want $61 billion in cuts. In an exclusive interview with Newsmax.TV, Bachmann was asked whether $33 billion in cuts would be a deal-breaker for her.

They are going to use the threat of a shutdown to blackmail the Republicans into giving in. Even though Newt cautioned Republicans on Capital Hill to resist a shutdown, I think it is the same story as what Democrats are doing in states like Wisconsin, Ohio and Indiana. They are willing to create havoc to get their way. Republicans will win if they hold to their core principles and emphasize that they have the responsibility to do what they were elected to do.

If these incremental cuts are like the frog in slow boiled water, I would enjoy seeing our nation’s Communists with their goose cooked. I say, get that pan on the fire.

"Without understanding who the opposition forces are, I think it was foolish to go in when we didn’t have a clear coherent strategy.”

It is clear to me.

The muslim child/king/president is assisting the formation of a more powerful and stable islamic nation in preparation for that 12th imam or maddi or whatever.

Cableguymn, are you talking about Michelle Bachman?

I think you must mean someone else. I think Michelle is great. She is fearless, intelligent, level-headed and is actually fighting night and day (no pc stuff) for our freedom and a return to the Constitution.

The more I hear Michelle speak, the more I could see myself supporting her for President or Vice President.

I don’t think he’s serious about being POTUS - he couldn’t afford the financial hit ;o)

But he’ll provide an invaluable ‘How it is!” voice on the stump as he has no constraints like measuring his words to avoid political/media attack. And, particularly in business/economics and world wide business contacts - he’s an expert. And he ‘nuances’ nothing. He speaks people’s English. People will listen to him.

He knows that, in a Socialist regime - which we are on the brink of becoming - he, and other business magnates, will fall.

So is his prime objective to preserve his empire? May be. But if he saves HIS empire - he saves businesses/free market across the board. that goes a long ways toward saving America.

Kind of a John Galt scenario? A free people do not work ‘for the good of society’ but pursue and use their INDVIDUAL talents for their own sake. They create best when left free to build their dreams, unfettered by interference and controls from people and gov’t who couldn’t ‘create’ an escape from a paper bag.

Society then benefits from their creations as an offshoot.

You post”“I think it’s time America has a president who will stand up for the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and our Bill of Rights.”

Add someone who has Military Command experience, knows the Bible and knows the Koran, knows who our enemy is and their history and will take them on head on - is PC immune - and you have:

LOOK OUTSIDE THE BOX - NOT to the Establishment.

You want someone who knows who are enemies are “Foreign and domestic” - and who will name them and who will fight them - and who our enemies will FEAR?

How about someone who knows our Constitution backward and foreward? How about someone who loves this country and also knows the Bible through and through? How about someone who knows Islam line by line and will face them down - and political correctness be damned? How about someone with decades of leadership and a proved record of standing firm, even at great personal loss, for what he knows is right?

Would you like a person like that? Or just another good ole boy from the worn out list of Establishment candidates? That REALLY worked out great for us in 2008, didn't it.

How many of you can think outside of the box?

Here's just a few clip to think about - but while on YouTube, watch more on this man. (Israel wishes he could run for their Prime Minister.)

idiot s laugh and joke about a Marine’s question, clueless. Only one person could answer him - who knows who our enemy is. It’s not a laughing matter.

A Draft movement - save these clips and send to everyone and check out other clips on YouTube. A proved leader like this, who kow tows to NO ONE, is what we need. We need new blood in DC - NO ONE from the “Establishment.”

CLEAN HOUSE -

Save these clips in a desktop file and email everyone and post everywhere. The Establishment is afraid of Lt. Col West. The muzzies are. The demRats are and are doubly troubled because how do they use their favorite weapon: “RACIST! “

This man would hit the ground running - he's a seasoned leader, he backs down to no one, He loves this country and will defend our Constitution against ALL enemies, “Foreign AND domestic.”

Throughout history, at it's darkest moments, a leader will appear unexpectedly - “the man and the Time have met”

WEST/Palin or WEST/Bachman. I'd be glad to see either ticket.

Is there some requirement on FR that every Michele Bachmann thread has to include pictures of Sarah Palin? I wish people would quit comparing her to Palin or treating her like a Palin clone. Michele Bachmann is her own woman.

People here have jumped on the Trump bandwagon because he's jumped on the birther bandwagon. Trump knows what crowd he needs to play to, he knows how to get attention. He's not stupid, but in a way he is because what he's doing right now will ensure 4 more years of Obama.

I disagree, she should stay in the House and support Sarah Palin for President.

MB is not even in the same league as Palin

"People here have jumped on the Trump bandwagon because he's jumped on the birther bandwagon."

For me, it's more than just the BC stuff. China's currency manipulations, the situation in Iraq, and just my feeling that he has the soverignty of the USA as a priority. (The Mexico situation.)

I like her too! I hope she runs for the 2012 bid. She should team up with Pawlenty!

They would forfit Minnesota's electoral votes. See the 12th Amendment.

See: Trumps backs mostly Democrats

This sounds exactly like what happened with Perot. Spout off words that appeal to some in the right wing, run as an independent and siphon off votes from the Republican enabling Obama to win (or Hillary if she's the nominee).

Hindsight tells us that Socialism is suicide! Too many of those who “serve” (themselves)(in Washington consider themselves above the American people. But no matter how they have dumbed down the population, Americans are still smarter than they are!

What we need is to cancel vote by mail, return to casting our ballots at our precinct locations (well manned by poll watchers), and count those ballots by hand rather than by manipulative computers! Until this happens, we can expect the anti-Constitution far left to stay in control.

I would like to hear Mr. Trump declare the above. If he can save his business, he will also save yours.

I love Michelle.
I’ve met her several times at her fundraisers and sent her many donations, and she’s not even my rep. I can’t even vote for her. What a great lady though.
