Some saw this before everyone on FR celebrated his election.

Who does Scott Brown think put him in office? He just elected a Democrat the next Massachusetts Senator. Good work, Scott. Honestly, it’s hard to take voting seriously when you elect someone, thinking they’ll be more conservative, and they turn on you when they get to D.C.

If the public wants irresponsible government, then they’ve got the right people in office.

Spare your tears. I donated to this clown and am happy as a pig in shit that I personally contributed to depth-charging the barge who was the successor female garbage scow to the Good Ship Chappaquiddick.

You probably had to be there, back in the 70's, to appreciate what this really meant.

He is about what I expected, frankly. I supported him for the position because his opponent was a corrupt left-wing extremist, and I wanted to see the Kennedys poked in the eye. But I certainly didn’t agree with the Freepers at that time who wanted him to run for President. That was crazy.

Unfortunately, I don’t know if we can do any better in Massachusetts. Well, we’ll see when he comes up for election again.

Senator Scott, let me give you a reality check. You are worried about cuts that are going to hurt people and programs that the government hands out to the so-called weak & poor in American society. Sir, my wife and I have worked since we were 18 years old many years ago. I have paid our taxes, raised a family educated them, give to charity, abide by our laws and have tried to build a nest egg for our retirement. Under Obama and his Democrat Party we have either lost or withdrawn our 401K funds to survive in these tough times. Why should we waste taxpayer funds on hand outs, pork and mismanagement by our governments and support of useless public service unionized teachers and workers. Without further comment you should be ashamed of yourself. And....I am one of those out-of-staters that supported your campaign financially last year!!! You best join the real world and stop drinking the kool-aid that is destroying America.

Does MA put something in their water?

Would we really take a chance and support Romney?

When it comes to the big issues Brown-stain is never on our side, that’s the problem.

I’ll say this, Brown-stain has pissed away support faster than any other pol I’ve ever seen. All the folks that I know, and that includes some old time Dems who voted for him 15 months ago, today wouldn’t piss on him if he was on fire. I’ll be interested to see where he gets votes and support from next year.

Actually, scratch that. I (and others) couldn’t give a sh*t about him.

C'mon. You have been around here long enough to know ideological purity in the real world is a recipe for disaster. If we had close to a majority of Tea Party conservatives, that would be one thing. Right now we don't even have a majority of any kind in the Senate.

That could change in 2012, with fair winds and following seas, but the true repeal of obamacare, say, could depend on-- not Brown's vote per se, but the Senate rules enforced by a republican majority made possible by Brown's re-election.

Don't think for a nanosecond that it couldn't come down to that one vote in caucus either. Stranger things have happened.

You knew this guy was unreliable when on the night of his victory, he took the stage on national tv and unleashed his inner stand up comic.

Still, in 2010 he had an ACU rating of 74%, which is 74 percentage points better than Senator Kerry had. Not bad, and better than any liberal alternative we can reasonably expect.

Scott Brown was elected because of his promised “vote” (no) on the health care marxism. Everyone, with the exception of a few, knew he was a liberal.

The despicable part is his performance....stating that he would drive his pick-up to DC. etc etc.

He served his purpose...it's time for his constituency to vote his ass out.

That’s the GOP RINO dance. You get 100 percent GOP votes on useless, boob bait, naming Post Offices stuff and they vote lefty, debts and spending totally Democrat on all the important stuff and get a 80 percent conservative rating.

They fluff up their votes. Game the conservative boobs.

If the Dems are going to win, they vote R, even though they support the Dems.

If the Dems are going to get crushed, they vote R, even though they oppose, but opposing won’t matter so might as well be a fake R( Dem’s understand )

Then throw in Post Office naming type votes, and before you know it, the RINO is Mr. Conservative at no cost to himself.

A dead trout could get those numbers.

The ACU is to conservativism what the AARP is to the elderly. A sucker, fake, sell you down the river scam.
