Bachmann begins to overshadow Palin as more-likely White House contender
The Daily Caller ^ | April 5, 2011 | Shane D’Aprile

The vacuum created by former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin’s (R) absence from the 2012 campaign trail presents a major opportunity for the woman she once hinted might share a presidential ticket with her: Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.).

With strategists and conservative activists increasingly convinced that Palin won’t make a run for the White House next year, she is losing some clout among her contingent of grassroots devotees who are eager to hit the 2012 campaign trail and rally behind an alternative to President Obama.

Bachmann, who is mulling a 2012 run, is the most obvious choice to supplant Palin in next year’s presidential contest.

That is not true. Michele voted against the bill you accuse her of voting for. It was the food safety bill. Look up the facts before you smear her.

Thanks for the link, and clearing up the matter

Sad that we will have some of the Palin people attack and smear Bachmann with falsehoods. Probably scares them that true conservative woman is in the running

I am sure you can also check Palin’s record on that site.

Bachmann is far better qualified to get the nomination than Palin. Look at her record just for starters;

This is one DYNAMIC woman, without the Saturday Night Live Comedy script!

I have a whole lot of empathy for people. However, empathy for a person does not mean I think they are ready to be President.

I have empathy for me. I just got charged one hundred bucks for a 10 buck transaction. That does not mean folks should feel they should elevate me to President because I have been treated unfairly. Life is unfair. Just the way it is.

Palin? One heck of a nice lady. Excellent at marketing. I guess the primary voters should decide if she is POTUS material. I hope it won’t be a pity vote though.

Pity? Not a chance! She is the bravest, brightest conservative *with a chance* at the nomination, IMO. I have the greatest respect for her, Lindy. Bob

If that is how you feel. Thats fine. I have no problem with that. Like I said, the primaries will work it out.

She’ll have one. Just wait and see if she catches fire. It will happen to everyone who threatens the statists. Don’t kid yourself, please.

Rubio dissed the tea party as soon as he settled into his cushy office.

I've listened to both. Bachman is far superior.

Bolton is better prepared than either.

Palin and Bachmann both realize the seriousness of the status of our country and what Obama is doing. They are not infighting so why should we? They are both praying to God for what is best for this country and I am sure mutually support each other.

Yes, they are both very supportive of one another. Why, it was Sarah Palin who gave Bachmann the idea of praising New Hampshire for being the home of Concord and Lexington.

"It’s kind of pathetic the “woman candidate” can be Palin or it can be Bachmann .. as if we can have only one woman running. Why not Bachman vs Pawlenty or Daniels..."

With T-Paw or Daniels, that would still be more women running....
