Two mainstream news organizations are receiving hundreds of thousands of taxpayer dollars from Obamacare’s Early Retiree Reinsurance Program (ERRP) — a $5 billion grant program that’s doling out cash to companies, states and labor unions in what the Obama administration considers an effort to pay for health insurance for early retirees. The Washington Post Company raked in $573,217 in taxpayer subsidies and CBS Corporation secured $722,388 worth of Americans’ money.
“It is fine with me if they continue covering the ObamaCare debate,” said Rep. Marsha Blackburn, Republican of Tennessee, in an e-mail to The Daily Caller. “When NBC used to cover energy issues, they identified themselves as a subsidiary of General Electric. CBS and Washington Post just have to disclose that they are subsidiaries of the Obama Administration.”

I cancelled my Facebook account last August, and haven’t had any trouble staying in the loop. I’m self-employed, working at home, so I’m online most of the day. My local Tea Party is very active, and I’m also somewhat active with AFP.
In fact, I’m better off without all the stupid distractions on Facebook.
Talk about corporate welfare! These MSM outlets are truly whores of Obamylon. If bloggers who receive gifts have to declare it, these clowns should surely have to disclose this fact in large letters emblazoned on every news story they release.

My point is, if the obots push something only on Facebook and Twitter, you won’t know it until (or unless) some other media repeats it. And if it’s time-sensitive, you miss it.
Likewise with discussions, explanations of policies, people’s comments- you won’t hear about it unless someone else tells you. You won’t contribute to any discussions. And with FB, the obots can delete stuff they dislike in an eyeblink, just by deleting the thread from their wall.
So if the obots use the new media 80% of the time, there will be a big division between who knows, and who does not- that alone will make the new media attractive to younger voters, and when they get there, there will be few conservative voices for them to hear if all conservatives stay away. It will be as one-channel as TV network news in 1968.

They werent impartial about the issue of health care (or any other issue) before they received these funds, so whats the difference?
That’s correct. No end to the Democrat Bullshit, and dirty tricks. Enough reading tells me the Dems use their positions of “POWER” to harrass major Transnational, and Domestic corporations; intimidate them, cajole them into funding their Leftist political ambitions. In some cases the Corporations have been intimidated into placing the Democrats Leftist pick as CEO, President, or key player in the heirarchy of the corporation to ensure their monetary, and “green” support.
I think I see the Leftist Socialist Democrats using our money in many different forms to fund their agenda towards our demise. They are using the Corporations that make the items we buy for our lives, and comfort, and pleasure via intimidation, coercion to spend monies for their Leftist agenda, as well they are skimming our taxpayer dollars from sources they have transferred our money say from TARP for example.
I don’t believe one would have to go too far to verify this at all. I just don’t have the time myself, and again have to duck out of here to take care of my own business.
The Leftists are a minority in this World comprised of multiple small political concerns of dubious authenticity that don’t speak individually for any majority. It’s the Left that has rounded up these individual entities, and is using them, their individual causes legitimate, or not to create a force in opposition to our Republic, our Capitalistic system, our free market.
They are cunning in their seeking of THE POWER. Their force is fed by, and grows by those that realize the money there is to be made in SEEKING the POWER, not only in being the power.

I agree with you. I have a number of liberals I am friends with on Facebook. Everytime they post something obnoxious and inaccurate about Republicans or the Tea Party, or something about Obama or other Democrats, I counter it with 3 articles pertaining to the bull**** Democrats are pulling over on us or something positive about a Republican.
I used to not want to step on anyone’s toes, but if they want to post BS, then I’m going to call them on it. And yes, once you do, it’s amazing how many others join in on the thread to make the original poster feel stupid.
If Obama wants to use Facebook as an outlet to rally the troops, that’s fine, but they all have to get through the millions of Conservatives that use it too...and we are ready for them.

Just started reading “Atlas Shrugged” on my Kindle. Somehow never got around to reading it when I was younger. Probably wouldn’t have made as much sense to me before as it does now.

My favorite sport is politics. So every chance I get, I provide FACTS which liberals do not have. I have been banned from one “friend’s” site. I see her name crop up in threads, but I never get to debate her because I can’t see what she posted. She’s the type that loves to call names instead of stating truths. It’s because she doesn’t have an argument. I think I made too much sense and she didn’t want her other friends to agree with me. Then I have another liberal friend who is VERY gracious when I post to her comments. What is really sad to me is that I hardly ever get any comments—I think it’s because people don’t want others to know how they really feel about various topics. Only those you love can hurt you, so I couldn’t care less if any of these people have negative comments.

Wholly disagree, my FRiend. FB is an ideal battleground for espousing conservative principles.
FB forum is where FReepers can be of exceptional influence. Many youth who were former Scouts, youth sports players, etc., are my FB “friends.” It is their FB friends who are most influenced when we counterbalance typical leftist drivel. Our “adult” presence upon FB, dissembling 0BOMBa machinations is just what our younger generation needs.
Respectfully disagree with content of what they posted, but not them personally, and back up your assertions with a truthful link. They’ll be FReepers before you know it.
