Angela reams Rush
Thr Rush Limbaugh Show | 4/7/11 | nully

Posted on 04/07/2011 10:42:20 AM PDT by null and void

Caller Angela reams Rush up one side and down the other for not questioning Obama's bona fides back when it would have made a difference.

Telling him he and the pubies in high places owe us an apology and should hang their heads in shame for not calling his citizenship status into question before he was even nominated.

Rush got VERY defensive, sounded like a kid caught with his hand in the cookie jar...

We don’t have mob rule in this country.

Unless the head of the mob is the President who is a Democrat

I do like you are focused on 2012, since that is by far our most realistic chance of getting the clown removed from office.

Focusing on the present as you say. Arizona and Oklahoma are about to pass presidential ballot eligibility laws where Obama has to show and prove he is Constitutionally eligible for president. That's a very realistic chance of keeping Obama out of the White House in 2012. Obama the clown can go golf everyday.

The ‘big name’ talk show guys have remained as close to silent as possible on eligibility, as they did during the GOP primaries in ‘08 before bitching about the selection of McCain. They could have influenced that selection but begged off with ‘they’re all friends of mine.’ We weren’t looking to elect friends. We were looking to nominate a solid conservative to run for the Office of President of the United States.

On eligibility, Rush made a comment or two along the way, better than nothing, but not much. Suddenly, apres-Trump, Hannity has found the issue. Still not much out of Levin, the Constitutional expert.

ANY of them, at ANY time, could have had an on-air guest who was knowledgeable and articulate about the NBC issue. Not one did. Their access to audiences of millions in that regard was wasted and did nothing to advance the Constitutional question. I am really disappointed.

I’ve always been a tad bit upset with Rush for not questioning Obama’s bona fides back when it became an issue in the first place.

Good commentary, and I agree with you. I was disappointed in Rush, but I can understand where he was coming up. At least he never made fun of those asking questions. (Not that I heard, anyway.)

I've noticed lately he's been giving more and more attention to the issue. I think he is attempting to redeem himself in a "safe" manner. To that I say good...better late than never.

That the thing, no one knows anything about this guy.

We don’t know who his daddy was (is?), all his records are either sealed or missing, multiple SS #’s...it’s a long list.

We’re all to just except Dreams From My Father as the Gospel truth.

Rush made the salient point. There is no reason to believe that Obama was not born in Hawaii. If he was born in Hawaii after 1959, he is eligible to be President. Q.E.D.

Uh-oh. You're going to catch hell from all of these Vattel scholars... who never even heard of Vattel before Obama came on the scene.

I guess I don't see where this is going

I'm sorry, but I just don't understand this kind of thinking. Where it's going is not the point. If it ends in Obama's resignation, in nothing at all, or at some point in between, it doesn't matter. You don't gauge whether you're going to do what's right based on your chances of success.

I can push for our Constitution to be honored AND work on the 2012 election at the same time. The two things are not mutually exclusive.

Perfect. That’s exactly the way to get him out of office by using his lack of BC against him.

Thinking that some smoking gun is going to make the media and the Dems turn on Obomba simply seems unrealistic to me. Making it a state issue, though, is realstic. The problem is we need a state like Ohio or Florida to enact similar legislation (or, in a pipe dream, a large blue state like CA or NY). Barry can still win the election without even being on the ballot in AZ or OK. Is there any traction on the ground in OH or FL, swing states that Barry won, for this type of law?

The citizenship issue is a diverson,,,his father was a British subject,,,he has used more than one S.S. number,,,he went to Pakistan using what pasport? Desn’t matter which of the 57 states he was ‘’born’’ in,,,he is a fraud. All the people who should be calling him on this have know all along and are aiding and abeting the crime.

As has repeatedly been pointed out, there are legal procedures to address this issue. They are going, and have gone, nowhere. The best idea I’ve seen is to require a long form BC to get on a state ballot for President.

Instead of whining about Rush, perhaps some of you living in OH or FL can start banging on your state rep’s door to convince him/her to enact legislation such as AZ and OK are in the process of passing. That’s an effective use of time. Pie-in-the-sky fantasies about Barry resigning based on some undiscovered smoking gun accomplish nothing productive, IMO.

While the birth cer5tificate is a big issue, there does not seem like much attention is given to the very long list of documentation that is also hidden.

Some time back, on Hannity and Colmes (yes, when their show was called that) Ann Coulter mentioned Obama’s other name, Barry Soetero and both Sean Hannity and Allen Colmes turned completely ashen and looked extremely scared. They immediately went to a break, but not before Ann Coulter said “What??? What did I say wrong? That was his name...Barry Soetero!”

I have never seen such a scared look on both of their faces. They would not say a word, which made me wonder what the heck was going on. No one has talked about Obama’s other name and how it was changed, and then changed again. If Bush had a name change, you can bet there would be a lot of discussion about it.

who never even heard of Vattel before Obama came on the scene.

So, depending on when some one learns something, it alters the fact of what they learned?

Or are you saying we're all just racist because it's Obama?

How does he get away with this when I never would be able to!?

I know exactly what you mean. To Work for a private company requires a lot more back up documentation than 0b0z0's non-existent paper trail.

The hoops that I went through when I was assigned to a government project that required a certain level of clearance weren't funny. I also needed permits for my cell phone, my company computer w/camera and absolutely no flash memory in the work area!

Coming back to your question with modification, "How does he get away with this to "head the government" and the free world when I never would be able to "just work" for the government!?"

“Rush has not looked too deeply at the underlying facts as we have. So it’s understandable that he has been mislead.”

You must be kidding.

That's his job; his chosen field. He has all the time, all the staff, and all the resources needed to do the job he purports is his to do.

Most of the rest of us here work all day (many probably have two jobs) in an unrelated field and we're still wise to a lot of this.

Nice try.

I was born in Massachusetts, and I am not eligible to be president.

Thank you for making this point! I think it would make for an interesting "campaign" if those of us who also fall into this category spoke up. So I'll add myself to the list...

I was born in California, and I am not eligible to be president.

To ask for verification of constitutional requirements in a sensible no-nonsense manner can be done in a perfectly non-kooky way. Ask for verification from all the candidates. When O fails to deliver, ask why. It is perfectly reasonable

And all of that was done by a number of different people. But Obama and those helping him cover his tracks said proof of eligibility had been provided. They claim the computer printout "Certification of Live Birth" is a totally valid document that proves his eligibility.

McCain provided an original BC. Obama didn't, but we're left with first proving that computer printout Obama provided is not a valid document, and proving further negatives after that.

That's where it stands, and those covering for Obama now refuse to establish any real proof of eligibility requirements for the future.

Carling, burying our heads in the sand is not going to solve anything.

When the Constitution is violated, citizens must make noise. It should be all over conservative web sites, magazines, radio shows, tv shows, and all the conservative pundits and talking heads should be raising the issue.

You know, the Stamp Act was law, and the king wouldn’t change his mind, so the colonists should have just kept their mouths shut.

And segregation was the law of the land, no blacks in our swimming pool, and the Supreme Court had spoken, so, talking about it was a foolish waste of time.

Abortion is legal, it’s settled, why bring it up? The courts have spoken.

Etc.

We make change by COMMUNICATING about things and talking about them and developing a strategy and implementing the strategy.

Not by giving up.

To suggest that we should all be QUIET because courts haven’t granted anyone standing yet is absurd.
