Found the party splits:

Strong Dem 19
Not very strong Dem 10
Ind Lean dem 9
------------
So that is 29 Dem, 38 with leaners
------------
Strict Ind 19
-------------
Ind lean GOP 12
Not very strong Repub 9
Strong Repub 11
-------------
So that's 20 GOP, 31 with leaners
-------------
Other 11
-------------
Other? What the heck is other? People too stupid to have an opinion?

Now, lets look at the March Gallup numbers:

http://www.gallup.com/poll/15370/party-affiliation.aspx 2011 Mar 3-6

GOP 29
Ind 39
Dem 29
GOP/lean 45
Dem/lean 43
-----------
So according to Gallup, Dems and GOP are pretty even. Yet this poll has Dems up 8-9 points over pubbies, plus there is that mysterious 'other' column where all kinds of crap can be buried. So there is easily a possible 15 point bias in this poll, which means -28 could actually be closer to even with realistic samples and registered voters.

This is a pure garbage poll, in other words.

Who cares, run on principle. We’ve all got poll disease. The media is laughing their asses off because they know they can make stuff up with these polls and people believe it.

Run Sarah Run.

The truth (or at least an educated guess) - from a professional in the field.

1. Her negatives among likely voters are also high but not nearly as high as in this poll of adults.

2. Her negatives among SNL viewers are extremely “soft” numbers, meaning that she can shift those numbers a lot simply by campaigning, if she presents herself much better than in the Couric interview. The ones who can’t be convinced by Sarah can’t be convinced by DeMint, Bachmann, or any other real American, so we shouldn’t care that they don’t like her.

3. She’s holding back until closer to the election so that she’ll be a fresh face as a candidate instead of “old news”.

4. I’m (unfortunately) not convinced that she is actually running. I think she would rather see another conservative take the job so she doesn’t have to, but she’ll jump in if her country needs her. [Note to Sarah: Yes, we do need you. Jump in when the time is right, or your children won’t have a recognizable country.]

They can say what they want, she's still going to be the new President at midnight on November 6, 2012.

Here all Along

“Is this an era where nobody wants to hear the truth?”

Short answer: if you’re a Democrat, YES.

I don’t think you were ever a suitor. Your heart pines for someone else. “ =======================================

Sarah Palin made every eye sparkle with her convention speech and her beautiful family. Instant inspiration and romance exploded for her from that moment on. We love her for what she gave us. And we have given her plenty, if you get my drift. If Sarah is taking a time out, we need to also.

These reports (imo) are directed straight at Palin. They know that she has a common sense approach about her decision and if they can convince her in print, that it’s just hopeless, she won’t toss her hat in the ring.

“If Palin was truly that unpopular the press would stop writing about her.”

The same could be said of Evening Star and the other Palin-bashers at FR.

Bush family at work?

Palin's cult of personality is more than adept at ruining her approval rating without any outside 'help.'

That's Oklahoma... Any Republican would be popular there. Newt, Huckabee, Bush. It went totally red in 2008.

To win in 2012 we need to go on the offensive. Palin's negatives make it difficult to accomplish that.

I wish it was only the far left. I know plenty of people that despise Obama but can’t see voting for her. She doesn’t have to win me over or most on here but its been 2 years of solidifying peoples negative perceptions.

I don’t know. I could swear I’ve read somewhere that she is unpopular with Republicans too.

The WSJ/NBC poll is garbage!! I have been saying this for a couple of years, I mentioned it a couple times just this past 2 weeks. It`right here on record in my posts.

Chuck Todd has a part in the polling, the wording of the questions etc, it`s pure garbage, just like all the other MSM media polls, including Fox.

The Science of polling is dead in 2011, it`s been dead for a number of years.

I just pray that Sarah Palin has people around her that can encourage her, and tell her this is all fabricated garbage.

Rupert Murdoch is not even a Conservative, if he was he certainly would have broken any partnership with NBC news.

Hey he allows the leftist polling company Opinion Dynamics to continue polling for Fox, they have been discredited a number of times.
