Must have been a gentle soft mouthed coyote. I once saw our Welsh terrier literally tear a large stray cat in half with just one bite and a severe shaking. Always gentle and even tempered, we never suspected the terrier would react that way, but when the cat bowed up and attacked, she went berserk and all hell broke loose.

One hot summer day here in AZ, saw a coyote chasing a jack rabbit, they were both walking and carrying canteens.

Actually the coyote has a much larger right to his catch, he is native, whereas the damn cat is an illegal emigrant.

So if a coyote takes a small child you would tell Mommy, "it sucks to be you."

My cat doesn't eat the neighbors calves nor does it hunt and attack children. There is a WORLD of difference.

Maybe you should get a bigger cat.

Read slowly, story is about a coyote and a cat. They both have fur and four legs and they kill and eat things. Now discussion of what if’s should be left to the what if’s thread. Sort of like, what if a frog had wings, etc, etc,

Huh? Are you some environmental whacko or something? That's just goofy. I have cats, and there are cats who wander around my neighborhood, some of 'em I enjoy seeing.

Org is a hypocritical race baiter. Don't take him seriously.

Hi Orgy.

What has this to do with a coyote taking a kitten? Seems far fetch from the original article.

Well should the coyote get to eat any people as long as they are not Indians?

If that was somebody’s pet, the coyote stole it and should have been shot if possible.

Free roaming cats are also pests or varmints.

Did not see one word about the coyote was running down the road with a people. Did run into a guy a couple of years back that had a pet coyote. Did not ask him if it killed people.

What if someone suggested Michael Vic was a man of questionable character and another person called them a skin head?

At the end of the day, you're still a race baiting idiot. You likely also pick your butt and eat your boogers. Those are your better qualities.

I don’t want to argue with you. You do make a point though. Nature sometimes is misunderstood. Coyotes snatch cats quite often where I live and I blame the cat owners for letting them outside. Coyotes are only doing what god taught them to do. I keep my cats inside. I wish the Coyotes would snatch some of Deer that eat my plants and shrubs though. Take care.

“She said the protocol for what to do if confronted by a coyote with a pet cat in its mouth didn’t enter her mind...”

There’s a Protocol for that? Other than “bang!” I mean ?

“I’ll remember that when I see a carnivore with you in it’s mouth. Don’t get me wrong I am a people lover too but if you get caught you lose.”

This is why I declined to go wilderness camping in Yellowstone with the gf’s family. I adamantly refuse to put myself in any situation where I might have to fight a grizzly bear for the toilet paper.

Maybe you should mash the abuse button. Then they look at your posting history as well as the FReeper you report. Go for it. Operators are standing by.
