It's not going to be pretty as you said.
The best thing we can do is start educating the American people on eligibility and why some people (like my dad) can be born in the USA and still not be eligible to be President of the United States.
If we let this go, if we just ignore it, if we allow this precedence be set by Obama, today's illegal Mexican could very well be tomorrow's Commander In Chief.
You meant he produced a CertificaTION of Live Birth, right? obama has only presented a forged CertificaTION, not a Birth Certificate of Live Birth.

Although that may be true, it could still be used as a point of contention to an incoming Republican administration and/or Congress.
They could present a case that the ‘usurper’ did not have the interest of the American people at heart when he either signed a new law or vetoed one.
That’s if they are smart and have the guts to do it.

That’s exactly why I think our time would be more effectively spent trying to prevent this situation.
I was one of the original birthers but realized early on that thinking he would be removed was a fools errand. It certainly doesn’t make him any less electable to his voters but there are plenty of other issues that might.
The world is blowing up all around us at the hands of Obama and like minded men and that is what needs to be exposed.
Actually it is going somewhere. If we accept reality and if we let this go, we are setting a precedence, for Arnold to be able to run, Mexican anchor babies would be eligible and worse today's illegal Mexican could very well be tomorrow's Commander In Chief.

Even if it is ruled that any law, treaty, etc. he has signed is valid, at the very least Nancy Pelosi and the Democrat hierarchy should be put on trial for fraud.
After all they sought him out, vetted his credentials and certified him as being eligible.
If he in fact was not eligible they knew.
I’m not as certain as you seem. If an innocent acident were responsible for his presidency, I could accept your proposition. His innocent accident was the result of a deliberate fraud and is a criminal act.
I agree he is not NB and the reasons seem to be many. My belief is that he was actually born in Kenya. Even NPR at one point printed that he was “Kenyan born”.
It wouldn’t be necessary for Britain to recognize Jr. as a citizen.
The fact that Sr. was considered a British citizen would be enough to disqualify Obie for the Presidency.

Not quite. All bills passed by Congress would be law. If the President fails to sign or veto a bill in sufficient time (exact period escapes me) it becomes law. Lacking a President, methinks the next in line would be deemed as having been President but not signed the bills, ergo it was Bidens’s job but he didn’t do it so the laws stand.
I don't agree. Using Occam's razor and selecting the simplest explanation for the White House occupant's secrecy over all documents covering his origin and background, I find that the most likely explanation for the peculiar behavior from our Community-Organizer-in-Chief is that the former US Senator from Illinois is hiding something huge - the unconstitutional usurpation of the power of our White House. Unless and until it is proven that he is eligible for the position, I will not consider him anything more than an evil, anti-American thug with no valid title - one who is endangering my country.
If we have to wait until January 20, 2013, for this self-identified druggie to be replaced by a real American, we will then have a president, and it will be that administration's job to sort out which of the foreigner's destructive actions are invalid once the real president obtains documentation that the Indonesian/Kenyan was ineligible (all nominations and most or all non-spending legislation), which of that usurper's evil acts must be repealed (any non-spending legislation that is not invalidated), and which will remain as a burden on the next generation (any debts that he piled on the shoulders of our children). If we never answer the question of eligibility, then I hope that the next real president of the United States will push for a blanket repeal, legislation listing all non-spending bills signed by the usurper and repealing all of them, followed by a systematic effort to remove or defund any nominees appointed by the usurper and confirmed by a Senate that chose to pretend that the Chicago communist had the authority to nominate judges and justices.
The fraud is a blot on our nation's history, and his legacy needs to be completely erased. When he dies, hopefully many years from now and as an old man who has grown bitter at the sight of a country that survived his evil (or by some miracle who has seen the light and embraced freedom as a positive value), I hope his ashes will be scattered in an undisclosed location, his name erased from all history books, and his existence forgotten by all decent people, except as a footnote that "a usurper" briefly occupied the White House but his actions had been successfully scrubbed from all official records so that his lazy and inept gestures in the direction of socialism could not further harm our children.
That cannot be stressed enough. many Americans including TV news anchors (the ones not playing stupid) do not know this fact.
They merely think all that's necessary is that you (yourself) were born here and that's enough. I'm sure there's even a part of our population so ignorant that they believe if you were born outside the USA came here as a foreigner but became a citizen that this personal would also be eligible.
We need to educate America on this issue.
It's common knowledge that Obama's father was born outside the USA. Yet, Americans see no problem with it.
The powers-that-be in both parties must quell the birth certificate issue.
If it were found that he did not have a valid certificate, after 2 years plus in office, it would create a massive Constitutional crisis that could cause political/governmental damage for years. It would impact all 3 branches of government.
Would laws and appointments be reversed? Would they be allowed to stand? Who/which office/personnel are responsible for allowing a non-citizen to ever run for the presidency? What type(s) of crimes/offenses would the perpetrator be charged with? What, if any, fines would be levied and what would the perp be required to repay? etc. Also, the civil lawsuits would be endless.
On Fox & Friends this morning, Huckabee, commenting on Trump and the birther issue, said he didn’t care whether BO was born in the USA or not. He doesn’t value the Constitution, apparently, which eliminates him for consideration as a presidential candidate. If we don’t intend to follow the Constitution, we can vote for the Democrat.
Even though I do think some things could be based on apparent authority, I think that if tested the final say will be that he had authority once he was sworn in.
The authority for determining if he was eligible was first the electoral college (who seem to have not done a thorough job), and the House (who seemed more than willing to look the other way. Once he satisfied them and took the oath, then he was (qualified or not) president.
