He’s addicted to it by his own admission. Making it illegal helps him how? That just ups the stakes for your fix.
You could make the same argument about legal gambling, cigarettes and alcohol. Maybe those need to be banned too. /s

Most of you apparently havn’t read the article. This isn’t MJ, this is some kind of phony artificial stuff that is called legal weed. It not supposed to be addictive and as far as I could tell from the article it isn’t even supposed to get you high. That is why it is legal to sell in NZ. This kid obviously has mental issues that have nothing to do with this product and it sounds like his family thinks they have hit the lottery.
It’s unbelievable the huge amounts of THC fake equivalencies that are on the internet now. The have the JWH-001 to JWH-250 series and all of them interact differently with the THC receptor in the brain. They have this new AM-0000 series that they’re experimenting with that have extremely wild effects to the point of massive halluncinations and paranoia. All these are imported from Chinese “powder houses” and resold by American distributors.
The “legal weed” is basically oregano with this stuff sprinkled on it.

Illegal weed ruined the lives of many of my high-school classmates.
It made them passive and lethargic, not willing to pursue an education or a career. Those guys are now waiting tables and driving cabs as they still get high every day and are pushing 50.
To the best of my knowledge, pot is not addictive. I never tried the stuff. Is Kronic addictive?
There is a physiological addiction and there is a mental addiction. Alcohol is physiologically addictive. Gambling is mentally addictive.
Is this guy just weak in the head?
Other Legal ‘things’ that can ruin your life:
1) Junk Food- Obesity
2) Motorcycle without a helmet
3) Dropping out of high school
4) unprotected sex
5) constant video games
6) scratch off lottery tickets
7) blowing ones paycheck on lap dances
8) not brushing your teeth
9) not exercising
10) not voting
Point is, many of get tired of people blaming everything but themselves for a ruined life.
For the record, I am against legalization but ‘pot’ will never disappear where their is a demand.
Just imagine if it was illegal too. Not only would he still be stupid, but he’d be jailed, raided, dogs shot, kids shot, grandparents shot, and broke (even more broke).
Pot is harmless. This article is not about marijuana (pot). Authoritarians, SUCH AS YOU, are not!
