Did Justice Dept. commit felony by dismissing Hamas financing trials?
The US Report ^ | 16 Apr 2011 | Chris Carter

Last year, the Dept. of Justice shut down numerous pending prosecutions against faith-based groups and individuals that were suspected of aiding foreign terrorist organizations. By doing so, did those responsible for the decision commit a felony?

In 2007 the federal government brought charges against the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development (HLF), formerly the largest Muslim charity group in the U.S., and several of its leaders for allegedly engaging in a criminal conspiracy to support the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas. The organization allegedly sent over 12 million dollars to the terrorist group, and in 2008, a federal jury convicted HLF and the defendants on all 108 counts of financing terrorism.

However, HLF was not acting alone. “Although the indictment in this case charges the [HLF and defendants],” reads an opinion from the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, “it will be obvious that the defendants were not acting alone. As noted in the case summary, the defendants were operating in concert with a host of individuals and organizations dedicated to sustaining and furthering the Hamas movement. Several of the individuals who hold leading roles in the operation of Hamas are referenced by name in the indictment.”

The “host of individuals and organizations” the opinion refers to is a list of unindicted co-conspirators that is eleven pages long and contains hundreds of people and organizations associated with Hamas. Investigators had been building a case on the U.S. terrorism finance network for more than ten years, and prosecutors reportedly planned on charging many of the organizations and individuals listed in the document. However in 2010, the Dept. of Justice (DOJ) announced that it would not prosecute any of the unindicted co-conspirators.

Obummer and Holder does anything they can to protect their campaign contributors from Gaza. Hopefully the FEC will find the connection between the undocumented
donations that Obummer received in 2008 from Gaza and Hamas. Is this just a coincidence? I think not.

Obummer is anti-Israel and you know that Hamas and the Arabs contributed illegal funds in 2008. Will the FEC investigation bust him and his croanies?

The murderers and criminals were no doubt let off
by DOJ employees, agents, if not the AG himself,
who don’t even pay US taxes as they select
whatever law they deem holds that day
for the poor cracker or dhimmi not lucky enough
to be an SEIU thug or one of HOLDER’s PEOPLE.

I sincerely doubt it. They have established that they are not an administration of laws as they do as they damn well please to further their agenda.

We can’t get rid of Holder and Obama soon enough. We have to get them out in the next election. They are blatant Muslim sympathizers

Flashback: Colonel Gadhafi Khadafy Qaddafi Praises Obama’s Foreign Fundraising Prowess
Interesting the gems one can unearth with this here Internet thing. Thanks, Algore!
In June, Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi gave a public speech praising Obama, claiming foreign nationals were donating to his campaign. “All the people in the Arab and Islamic world and in Africa applauded this man,” the Libyan leader said. “They welcomed him and prayed for him and for his success, and they may have even been involved in legitimate contribution campaigns to enable him to win the American presidency…”

[O]n July 31 that donors from the Gaza strip had contributed $33,000 to the Obama campaign through bulk purchases of T-shirts they had shipped to Gaza…. A pair of Palestinian brothers named Hosam and Monir Edwan contributed more than $31,300 to the Obama campaign in October and November 2007, FEC records show. Their largesse attracted the attention of the FEC almost immediately. In an April 15, 2008, report that examined the Obama campaign’s year-end figures for 2007, the FEC asked that some of these contributions be reassigned. The Obama camp complied sluggishly, prompting a more detailed admonishment form the FEC on July 30. The Edwan brothers listed their address as “GA,” as in Georgia, although they entered “Gaza” or “Rafah Refugee camp” as their city of residence on most of the online contribution forms…. The latest Obama campaign filing shows that $891.11 still has not been refunded to the Edwan brothers, despite repeated FEC warnings and campaign claims that all the money was refunded in December.
