Obama er pardon, Osama is wanted for the bombings in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania and Nairobi, Kenya. Yet, back in 1998, there is no record of Jones burning a Koran, causing Osama to commit these crimes.
For muslims, any excuse will suffice, so long as they get to kill infidels. They were planning, and plotting, to kill them anyway.
To suggest that Jones is the antagonist in this war, as if it were not for him, everything would be peaceful and hunky dory, is at the least naive, and at the worst, reeks of dubious motive.
Jones is not the problem. The problem is that some fools accept the lie that Islam is a religion of peace. How they can buy into this deception defies logic. I really like your hornet analogy. I have a lot of hornet experience and always manage to get an annual update. What do you do when you discover a hornet's nest in your yard?
Do you give the yard to them so you and yours never get stung for being near them or possibly doing something that might make them mad? Do you rationalize that they are, after all, a part of nature and do good along with the bad.
Or, does the bad outweigh the good? Are you so outraged by them stinging you or yours or just their threat that you take out the nest? (The exterminator's phone number is on the refrigerator.)
Those hornets should be scared of you, not the other way around. They should be afraid of making you mad, not the other way around.
