I forgot. Rats won in Congress in 2006 and increased their gains in 2008 by running supposedly “moderate” nominees, many were fiscal conservatives, pro Second Amendent and/or prolife. They are not seeing any of the seats they lost in 2010 any time soon, especially if they return to gun grabbing schemes.
Which then suggests that, if they plan any "gains" in power, that it won't come through the electoral process, but in spite of it.
