For the first time, Rep. Michele Bachmann – who is actively considering a run for the White House in 2012 -- has said that the birth certificate President Obama has released to the public puts an end to the "birther" issue. It came when I showed her the copy of the Certificate of Live Birth published on FactCheck.org.
It happened this morning on “GMA.” Here’s the key exchange:
Stephanopoulos: Last night you were on Fox News suggesting the president should come forward with his birth certificate as well --
Bachmann: Well, what I have said about that is, I was asked a question about that and Republicans are constantly asked to vouch for the authenticity of the birth certificate. The only one who can is the clerk of court in the county where someone is born and that’s where people should go. Don’t ask Republicans, go ask the clerk of court.

She was ambushed and bullied into saying “that settles it”. Later, she will be quoted out of context as saying it is settled. Dishonest propaganda.
This is great information if it is true. Do we have an example to compare with? On this issue too much stuff gets "alleged" without being actually established as fact. I hope your right, but how do we know for sure?
All of us who have thought about this for some time have said what Levin said. However if it were proven that Urkel is not qualified the House would impeach him and the RATs would be hard pressed to acquit him. It isn’t about “lying about sex”. And it the Senate did acquit the toll it would take on the party would be enormous even in a country with 50% dumbasses.
Well it puts to rest all those rumors that he was Hatched.

Not quite. his mother was too young for her to confere citzenship on him, and she may have alienated herself and Brack by leaving the country and letting her new husband adopt him. Of course, he may have repatriated himself and this could have been done by the inattention of the authorities. The law with regard to odd cases is hardly explicit. The very court decision Wong van Ark(?) that set the precedent for anchor babies. actually has to be evealuated in terms of the law in place at the time. The Chinese Exclusion Act set the legal staage at that time. Ironically, the fact of his having been born in Germany—and brought to the US at age of three. Was probably all that kept John Peter Altgeld from being the Democratric nominee for President in 1896.

Unfortunately it also says date filed, but it states Certificate rather than certification. A Certification is not the same as a certificate and this one actually has a seal. Where is BO’s seal? Supposedly on the back. I guess they couldn’t certify the front. That would have been perjury!
The objection to Michelle Bachman is not that she is insufficiently "birther" it's that she showed ignorance and poor judgment in discussing an issue of which she was not fully informed, thereby playing into the propaganda machine of the enemy.
If you don't know what you're talking about, and you don't have time to learn the facts, then DON'T DISCUSS the topic! She just ended up hurting us.
Possible scenarios:
1. Obama has serious dirt on Bachmann.
2. Bachmann is trying to moderate herself so she looks like a viable presidential candidate.
3. Obama being declared ineligable could lead to a constitutional crisis that would be the deathblow to a country already mired in debt.
I’m looking towards maybe 1 and more likely 3 although 2 wouldn’t be out of the question. Brewer stepped away and so did Bachmann, and they would normally never step away from birtherism.
I personally think him being born in this country isn’t verifiable because Hawaii and other overseas USA territories and states are infamous for fudging COLBs, especially since the Great Society and so far, he hasn’t been exactly honest about his birth certificate.
I guess you are given to ramblings, as what you posted to me ahd no bearing on what you responded to in my post.

As much as I would like for the BC to be the reason Obama was nullified as POTUS, I just don’t believe its a winable battle. I agree with Rush and Charles Krauthammer that this is not the issue for conservatives to hang their hat on. Don’t you see that while you spend your time on this birther thing, you’re wasting time on the real issues to beat Obama on? The independent voter is not the least bit excited about proving Obama’s citizenship. I deal with them every day and its a nowhere turnoff issue to nearly every one of them. The issues that concern them are the ecomomy and what Obama has done with wealth redistribution. THOSE are the battles we as conservative should be fighting. Otherwise, we’re going to push the voters away. And if you think independents votes don’t matter, then God help us because you’ll ensure another 4 yrs of misery and still be trying to get Obama to produce his BC.
That’s an example of Michele Bachmann in the middle of a debate with Barack Obama if she were the nominee and dicussing an issue much more difficult than Obama’s BC.

Hmmm...I’m not up to speed on that one.
Has this been consistent all throughout Hawaii's existence as a state? I noticed they've changed their birth certificate designs quite a bit over the years. Perhaps they change the language sometimes? Thanks for the example.
He has the guts to take this POS on and the Treason Media hence he is better than a lot of cowering “conservatives”.
