Bernstein is not an economist by training; He studied music, social work and other fields and got his doctorate from Columbia in social welfare

There must be a shortage of economic advisers trained in.... ECONOMICS!

“With the recession over, Obama has been turning his attention to reining in the debt.”

The entire article reflects a bizarre world view. There’s an “economic” think tank where they study policy to spend money to help the middle class and the poor. There are sentences like; “In the first two years of President Obama’s tenure, the White House was focused on arresting the recession. As a result, it looked largely to programs that would stimulate the economy through government spending.”

The entire piece is propaganda.

"Bernstein is not an economist by training; He studied music, social work and other fields and got his doctorate from Columbia in social welfare."

Isn't getting in waaaaaay over one's head the universal theme of Obama's administration?

The guy deserves combat pay. Imagine day after day trying to explain things like simple economics to a dunce like Biden?

Why does Biden even need an economic advisor? Not sure if Cheney had one but theres another example of a bloated governmnet position. Couldnt the VP share the President's economic advisor?

And - this is secondary to the fact that Biden is an idiot and probably never spoke to this guy.

Why are we paying for the Vice President to have his own econimics advisor? In fact, other than a couple of speech writers, a social secretary, and someone to arrange his travel I don’t see why the VP needs any of his own staff at all. He can just use the staff already employed in EOP.

” Bernstein is not an economist by training; He studied music, social work and other fields and got his doctorate from Columbia in social welfare. “

This evening’s cello concerto will be performed by a stockbroker who thinks he knows how it should sound.

This is macroeconomic karaoke.

And, by the way, it sucks.

He was a CNBC hack before being picked up by Biden. Think of Steve Liesman’s leftist views, but on steroids. He doesn’t just drink Kool Aid, he manufactures it, and should get the Order of Lenin for what he’s done to Amerika.

...advocate for more spending to create jobs...joining think tank

LOL. The "tank" is getting some real brain power there. Guess they didn't think very well when they hired him, which makes the rest of their thinking rather suspect.

Let’s be kind to Jared... The Summer of Recovery (2010) was a complete success. Joe Biden is now responsible for getting an agreement on spending compromises necessary to satisfy the right on the Debt Ceiling vote — no problem... he can sleepwalk his way through those negotiations.

So now Jared can go off to do the important work at the progressive left-leaning economic think-tank he’s going to where they haven’t been right on anything policy-wise in his lifetime.

Dear God! We are being ‘led’ by manic children with no idea of the real world.
