Obama out of depth in troubled times (Jaw-dropping editorial from the Washington Post alert)
Washington Post ^ | April 25, 2011 | Jennifer Rubin

Posted on 04/25/2011 5:18:36 PM PDT by Zakeet

President Obama’s approval ratings are languishing in the mid-40s again. Conservatives argue that Obama lacks executive acumen. They say that he’s a prisoner of leftist ideology, immune to facts and experience. There’s a lot to all of that.

But what we’ve learned over the past couple of years is that Obama, in no small part due, one can surmise, to years of fawning by rapt liberal academics and pols anxious to praise every utterance, is thin on knowledge and nearly entirely bereft of strategic thinking.

He’s articulate and can be (at the Arizona memorial, for example) an inspired speaker. But what does he know? Does anyone aside from his devoted spinners imagine that he grasped the limits of the United Nations and other international bodies, understood the frailty of Middle Eastern despots, correctly analyzed the root of the Israeli- Palestinian conflict, appreciated the history of Keynesian failure or perceived the enormity of our looming debt crisis? As the problems become more acute, his limitations become more obvious. At this point it’s hard to imagine that he could hold his own on the same stage with Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) and debate their respective budget plans.

[Snip]

Obama and his defenders whine that these are tough times, tougher than any mortal could be expected to manage. But that’s poppycock. Reagan faced a collapse of American confidence, a sky-high “misery index”and an emboldened Soviet Union. George W. Bush faced the worst attack on American soil in 60 years. All presidents face challenges. The question is do they have the character, the depth of knowledge and the skill to manage them. In Obama’s case there is reason to doubt that he does.

It is not a good sign for the Wee Wee when some of his nearest and dearest Libtard friends start to throw him under the bus!

Jennifer Rubin is the token conservative at the Washington Compost. Have you ever read the newspaper before?

Oh really? What if the teleprompters don't work? We've already seen this dummy in action when he has to do improv.

Unless his speeches are written for him, he's proven to be a dullard. That's what affirmative action does to you.

It’s a good article, but remember this isn’t exactly WaPo editorial page opinion. This Jennifer Rubin’s “Right Turn” conservative blog. While it is nice that the Washington Post finally gives conservatives an outlet, you can be absolutely certain their editorial board will endorse Hussein for President in 2012.

Obama is a vessel, a figurehead that was used to get the door to the White House open for the liberal cabal that is currently running the country.

That's it in a nutshell. An incompetant libtard agitator sweet-talked his way into the Oval Office.

Be interesting to see a non-inflammatory, non-partisan, non-prejudicial study comparing applicable characteristics of Obama and Hitler (I know Hitler, for instance was also a good speaker, but don’t know about his IQ and the other stuff).

Rubin is not afraid to lay into Obama or Democrats and does it regularly. I’m sure there are those at WaPo who would dearly love to see her fired.

“...years of fawning by rapt liberal academics...”

It hasn’t just come from the left. Most people who even tangentially follow sports know what ‘player haters’ are, and can guess at the etymology. He’s been surrounded, off and on, by the opposite of ‘player haters’: benchwarmers, waterboys, wannabes, you name it. This has been compounded by people too afraid of being called racist to presume anything other than that the incompetence and ignorance they find in him is anything but their own projection onto him. They go to great lengths in their own heads not to notice his failure, his incompetence, his ignorance, and his use of their own willful blinded-ness.

There is no doubt. The man has no skills and is without character. He is the worst President in the history of the Republic.

If Ms. Ruin is not a token conservative at the Wash Compost, then this reeks of a setup editorial...whereas later, a “look at how much Hussein has learned!” pile of tripe will be published.

In short, I find it difficult to believe these media sycophants are just now figuring out he is a LOSER. Maybe they’re racist.

Still, reading a piece in the WAPO that is this hard on Obamalini has me looking for pigs flying by my window. I think that the fact that the editorial board let this through may indicate that Obamalini’s ME policies are eroding his support among liberals, especially Jewish liberals.

I never thought I’d read that in the Washington Post. I’ve also been reading that George Soros has just about given up on Obama and is seeking someone else to be his puppet.
