President Obamas approval ratings are languishing in the mid-40s again. Conservatives argue that Obama lacks executive acumen. They say that hes a prisoner of leftist ideology, immune to facts and experience. Theres a lot to all of that.
But what weve learned over the past couple of years is that Obama, in no small part due, one can surmise, to years of fawning by rapt liberal academics and pols anxious to praise every utterance, is thin on knowledge and nearly entirely bereft of strategic thinking.
Hes articulate and can be (at the Arizona memorial, for example) an inspired speaker. But what does he know? Does anyone aside from his devoted spinners imagine that he grasped the limits of the United Nations and other international bodies, understood the frailty of Middle Eastern despots, correctly analyzed the root of the Israeli- Palestinian conflict, appreciated the history of Keynesian failure or perceived the enormity of our looming debt crisis? As the problems become more acute, his limitations become more obvious. At this point its hard to imagine that he could hold his own on the same stage with Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) and debate their respective budget plans.

Obama and his defenders whine that these are tough times, tougher than any mortal could be expected to manage. But thats poppycock. Reagan faced a collapse of American confidence, a sky-high misery indexand an emboldened Soviet Union. George W. Bush faced the worst attack on American soil in 60 years. All presidents face challenges. The question is do they have the character, the depth of knowledge and the skill to manage them. In Obamas case there is reason to doubt that he does.

Wow. When a leftist organ like WaPo starts admitting the emperor has no clothes, not even David Axelhead will be able to spin his way out.
The comments are indeed fascinating.
Mark for later...
“George Soros has just about given up on Obama”
Then the birth certificate will be unearthed, by hook or crook.
Still, Jennifer makes a very powerful case that some beltway libs may ingest. It's a start. Jeez....the evidence is friggn' overwhelming.
Can someone give me even one reason to doubt that he doesn't? It ain't even close.
Obama’s ineptitude is so obvious by now that it is beyond cover up and spin.
The dude’s but a professional reader. And he better be careful as that lightning bolt to the White House suggests God is sighted in. Maybe they need a putting green up there....ah our Savior can target through anything although evil lives long.
They are setting up the 2012 election.
Hillary to the Green Room.
“He has been codled (coddled) and groomed for most
of his political career.”
It is also very obvious that whatever he knows
about conservatism he learned from liberal teach
-ers and profs. He is in his own thimble size
liberal world.

Bullspit. She's the real thing, heres her resume:
Jennifer Rubin worked at Commentary Magazine, the Pajamas Media, Human Events, and the Weekly Standard. .
BTW, for all of you "shocked" that WP would publish a real conservative, remember that the previous "token conservative" they had at the newspaper was a journolister named Dave Weigel who pretended to be a conservative but really wasn't, slandered Matt Drudge, and then was fired
So this is how they made amends. Which is so hard to do!
Questions for the Washington Post:
1. Based upon this observation which has been readily available to you for the past four years, why did you decide in 2008 to endorse Obama for President - an office for which you now admit he was unqualified.
2. By your current assessment, how will you justify endorsing him again in 2012?
America, this is our moment. This is our time. Our time to turn the page on the policies of the past. Our time to bring new energy and new ideas to the challenges we face. Our time to offer a new direction for the country we love.
The journey will be difficult. The road will be long. I face this challenge with profound humility, and knowledge of my own limitations. But I also face it with limitless faith in the capacity of the American people. Because if we are willing to work for it, and fight for it, and believe in it, then I am absolutely certain that generations from now, we will be able to look back and tell our children that this was the moment when we began to provide care for the sick and good jobs to the jobless; this was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal; this was the moment when we ended a war and secured our nation and restored our image as the last, best hope on earth. This was the momentthis was the timewhen we came together to remake this great nation so that it may always reflect our very best selves and our highest ideals. Thank you, God bless you, and may God bless the United States of America.

Surprise, surprise... People are finally beginning to realize that Ubama is the ultimate empty suit.
There is absolutely nothing there.
It really looks like O will not be the Dem nominee in 2012.
Don’t limit yourself. I think he intends to destroy all of Western Civilization, and America just happens to be his first target.
