He has been a massive disappointment on the eligibility issue.
Name one, just one of our conservative spokespersons, who have not disappointed you? Coulter, Levin, Rush, Beck, Hannity, the kraut, Tokyo Rove, perhaps you could rustle up a Senator, or a lowly congressperson.

I remember that very well. During the Prop 187 campaign Rush was approached many times to give us a hand, and he refused to do it. He wouldn’t even take phone calls on the subject of illegal immigration.
I’m always fascinated by his ability to reinvent his past and portray himself as a leader in the fight against illegal immigration. But then he has shown over the years a great capacity for reinvention.
