This would mean that Rush, Beck and Breitbart have all listed Allen West as their top pick (or at least near the top of a very short list).

Beck

Breitbart

I stopped listening to Rush when he extolled how valuable illegal aliens were for our economy. GAG!

Very few Freepers seem to remember Rush as an illegal alien advocate. It was at the same time he was having the oxycontin problem and going deaf. Got off and never went back.

He has been a massive disappointment on the eligibility issue.

The Natural Born Citizen needs no law to make him a citizen.

It is a Constitutional hierarchy: Natural, Native, Naturalized. All equal before the law, all able to run for every office save one: The Presidency/Vice Presidency.

Read your pocket Constitution. It's not all that difficult a concept, but has been made so by a certain Mombasa MF who is an ineligible resident at the WH as we speak.

NBC status means whatever they want it mean, common sense died a couple hundred years ago. We have lawyers now to confuse the common sense meaning of our language. Now we are civilized, don’t you see?

Allen West has something most politicians are lacking — integrity.

While I have not a serious search, Wikipedia inidcates, both Jindal’s and Rubio’s parents were naturalized citizens at the times of their births, which was in the geographic limits of the USA.

What does NBC take 3 generations or something?

Where’s Sarah? He must be afraid of her

RUSH: You have to consider one possibility on this: It may well be that none of these Republicans, unannounced or announced, really think that we are in that big a crisis. I mean, it's possible. It's possible that they don't look at it the way we do. It's entirely possible. I'm not sure it is, but you've gotta factor it as a possibility.

I've been watching Gov Jindal for years, and more power to him. He was born in the United States, two months after his parents arrived with visa to attend graduate school. They later became naturalized citizens. With all the controversy concerning 'natural born' citizenship re Obama, will that be a stopper for Jindal?

Name one, just one of our conservative spokespersons, who have not disappointed you? Coulter, Levin, Rush, Beck, Hannity, the kraut, Tokyo Rove, perhaps you could rustle up a Senator, or a lowly congressperson.

Anyone, anyone, no?

If the powers that be really gave d*mn about the Constitution, they wouldn't even suggest a Constitutionally ineligible candidate. Our Founders gave us three, *only three!*, simple requirements for those who aspire to the Executive Office. I am shocked every day that so many are so intellectually challenged as to not be able to grasp all three items. Average short term memory should allow for up to six items at a minimum! Truly public education has failed us.

Rush has done it now. Birthers will continue to insist that native born and natural born are not synonymous. This thread should be a hoot.

I am certain that Wiki is WRONG. Not a surprise...we all know it is totally liberal.

Numerous people in Florida have prevailed on Rubio to produce the naturalization papers. He doesn’t do it for US, his constituents, so why should I think Wiki would know any better?

I am certain that I’ve seen a direct quote from Jindal that his folks were Indian citizens until he was at least a toddler.

I HOPE that Marco is legit. I was one of the first people in the Tampa area who pushed him to run against Crist for the Senate. But the presidency is another matter. If he can verify he is a NBC-—FANTASTIC! But enough messing around, already. We’ve had enough of that with Obama. Marco should fish or cut bait.

Jindal? He could prove his people came over on the Mayflower and that he was born in Preservation Hall and it wouldn’t matter. He is just too nerdy. But if he was misquoted about his people, he can easily set the record straight with the docs.

I pray to God we never have another controversy like Obama’s mess.

It’s best to err on the side of caution.

Seekthetruth says that Allen told her that he will not aggressively seek the presidency, senate, or vice-presidency but would consider a VP spot if asked.

You have no idea how many of us Floridians have asked him about it but he will not respond. He vehemently denies any interest in Prez or VP, however, so it may be a moot point-—for now.

I like all three, but only one appears to be a natural born citizen.

It would be awesome if Jindal or Rubio told a reporter: I'm flattered to be considered presidential material but I don't meet the constitutional eligibility requirements of having two citizen parents at the time of my birth.

Can you imagine the reaction to that statement?
