Now if you’re talking raw milk, remember springtime raw milk on grass fed cows and the onion taste from all the spring onion grass? Yech! Ruined many a bowl of cereal!

Oh yes! That’s when we drank powdered milk which barely tastes like milk but I still keep it on hand.
How about dipping the cream off the top of every gallon for a week and making ice cream with it? You know, when the cream rises to the top. LOL! Lots of people don’t realize where that saying came from.

It was the food of the gods. Even if it did taste like spring onions. I am talking about my grandparents. And they made butter and cottage cheese, hung in a cloth bag on the clothesline that dripped; the Old Tom Cat always sat beneath licking up the puddles.

and the cream rising to the top of your glass -— heaven!
