Geraldo just announced Obama will make some sort of statement in 30 minutes. Geraldo says this is unusually late and figures it has something to do with Libya.
Obama can’t claim credit. OUR MILITARY ALONE DESERVES THE CREDIT. If the Dems credit Zero I will throw up.
At 10:30, all the news outlets had still held their stories. If he had simply kept to his schedule, he would have announced it without a leak.
But he was late, as he always is if it isn’t a tea time.
And once twitter was screaming the news, the news organizations weren’t going to stay quiet.
But CNN sure tried to make it sound like we had just been invaded by China or something.
Now they are talking about how Obama had personally caught Bin Laden, and how much Bush wishes HE could have made this announcement.
I think at some point NBC actually mentioned in passing that our military might have had something to do with it, althought mostly it was Leon Panetta, who “you know” is about to be Defense Secretary.
I am as cynical as you are, nothing against our troops, IMHO you are probably right, he has been dead for eons and now they need to take credit for it, the timing smells post the whole Trump/BC incident(s)....
It’s way too early to be an effective October Surprise, but Brack’s numbers were dropping like a stone as of late - this should give him a bump with the brain-dead portion of our electorate.

I am happy as hell they finally got the SOB but I worry about this news activating sleeper cells to carry out more attacks in the US and maybe Europe.
My elderly parents are currently on a trip overseas, making my anxiety a bit worse.

Of course it is. The networks jumped at precisely 45 minutes after the hour. Just to make the rub he will show his face will normal tapes are done.
All four broadcast networks now live with the news about bin Laden’s death. On cable, CNN, MSNBC, FOX and Univision all live with this news.
