The interrogation would have produced 24 carat gold.

What was his network?
How was command control and communications set up?
Who were his backers?
Who were his contacts?
Did he have contacts with foreign intelligence agencies or other Jihadi groups?

Just having his version of Al-Qaeda’s creation would have provided amazing insight on how the organization operates.

Imagine video showing bin Laden cowering, with weapons pointed at his head begging Americans for mercy?

What would his supporters have thought if bin Laden was shown shackled and in a cage looking tired and defeated?

A security detail is difficult to hide and in itself is a tipoff. And once you know the detail is there you just up the manpower in the assault team to overpower it.

Bin Ladin was trying to be inconspicuous and it worked - up until the SEAL team arrived.

What I find interesting is that he was living in a Pakistani garrison town and yet nobody from the garrison showed up during the firefight to investigate the shooting.

Of course just the fact he was living in a Pakistani garrison town is interesting.

I just listened to the Obama’s speech again, and noted he said “after a firefight, they killed OBL”. The sequencing struck me: “after”? Maybe they did neutralize all other threats in the building, gave him a chance to surrender, and being armed consented to “suicide by SEAL”.

I don't doubt there was a firefight but I'm guessing the first shot was to Osama's head and no one knew the Seals were there until that shot was fired. A firefight likely ensued but Osama was already at his new residence, the pit of hell, where he will spend all eternity.

It could be that Osama was shot by one of his ISI "handlers", under orders to not permit Osama to be taken alive if there was a snatch attempt.

I just read on UK Daily Mail Online that one of the Seals had a camera on his helmet, and Obummer, Biden and a bunch of others watched Bin Laden, his son, and wife get gunned down on a live feed as it went down.
