CIA Looks for New Clues on Al Qaeda Trail, Reviews Evidence From Bin Laden Compound
FOX NEWS ^ | 05/02/2011 | foxnews.com

AP

Vehicles are parked inside the compound of a house where it is believed Usama bin Laden lived in Abbottabad, Pakistan, May 2. Usama bin Laden's body sank to the bottom of the Arabian Sea Monday morning after he was buried in accordance with Islamic practice.

But while his death marked the end of one counterterror mission -- a big one -- it could unlock new clues as intelligence analysts start to review the materials captured at bin Laden's Pakistan compound during the raid.

Along with bin Laden's body, electronics and hard drives were seized by U.S. forces following the firefight Sunday afternoon.

They have started to arrive at the CIA's Virginia headquarters, officials said. They described the cache as a "volume of materials" that will be "exploited and analyzed" at CIA headquarters.

It's unclear what kinds of information the files might contain. Intelligence officials spent years tracking the threads of information that eventually led them to the courier that led them to bin Laden's compound. But officials have said the successful mission Sunday is only one step in the ongoing fight against Al Qaeda and its affiliates.

why is the MSM calling this property a “$1 million resort compound?”

Before or after the firefight, the place is a dump.

This is all you get in Pakistan for $1 million? Worse than SF.

Either our intelligence service pretends that they have gleaned valuable information which they didn’t to scare the villians into flight, or we really did recover valuable information and we just tipped off the villians into flight.

Did Senior Military/Intelligence Officials Overrule President Obama Regarding Mission to Kill Osama Bin Laden?
by Ulsterman in Issues, May 2, 2011

A reluctant American president who was ultimately overridden by senior military and intelligence officials to finally take out terrorist Osama Bin Laden.

Note: This communication came from our long time D.C. Insider and details the past, present, and ongoing conflicts surrounding the decision to assassinate terrorist Osama Bin Laden. This has been reproduced here as originally communicated to us.

__________

Please get this out ASAP. Want specific people to know we know.

RE Osama Bin Laden. Significant push to take him out months ago. Senior WH staff resisted. This was cause of much strain between HC and Obama/Jarrett. HC and LP were in constant communication over matter – both attempted to convince administration to act. Administration feared failure and resulting negative impact on president. Intel disgusted over politics over national security. Staff resigned/left. Check timeline to corroborate.

Now Intel already leaking to media facts surrounding how info obtained. Namely from enhanced interrogation efforts via GITMO prisoners. Obama administration placed in corner on this. Some media aware of danger to president RE this and attempting protection. Others looking for further investigation. We are pushing for them to follow through and already meeting with some access.

Point of determination made FOR Obama not BY Obama. Will clarify as details become more clear. Very clear divide between Military and WH. Jarrett marginalized 100% on decision to take out OBL. She played no part. BD worked with LP and HC to form coalition to force CoC to engage.

IMPORTANT SPECIFIC: When 48 hour go order issued, CoC was told, not requested. Administration scrambled to abort. That order was overruled. This order did not originate from CoC. Repeat – this order did not originate from CoC. He complied, but did not originate.

Independent military contacts have confirmed. Stories corroborate one another. This is legit.

The killing of Osama Bin Laden was in fact a Coup within Obama WH.

Speaking with additional contacts RE info.

Stay safe.
HC = Hillary Clinton

BD = Bill Daley

LP = Leon Panetta

CoC = Chain of Command/Commander in Chief

Clues At Hideout Will Help Bury Al Qaeda

This might sound like a crazy question but, at this point in time, do we really want to bury Al Qaeda? After all, it appears that with the growing revolutions in the Middle East/North Africa, Iran and Ahmed Ahadinejhad is the bigger threat in the region. Iran represents a Shia Muslim sect and Al Qaeda represents a Sunni Muslim sect. We might want to keep Al Qaeda intact until these revolutions are over with. I'd hate for us to wake up one day and find an Iranian led Shia Muslim Caliphate in the Middle East/North Africa and no indigenous Middle East force to resist that.

An insult to Geronimo, who was a REAL warrior and did not hide behind his womenfolk.

I have a different perspective of JUSTICE!

OBL deserves the consequences of his actions. In my mind, his lack of regard for civilization means that there are no laws that apply to him. In fact those societies that believe that strapping explosives onto a child and sending them into a group of innocent civilians, is normal behavior, are living in the Stone Age and should not be accorded the rights of civilized societies.

A system of Justice is designed for those of a civilized society who believe in the rule of law. Unfortunately, Czar B.O. and his henchman Holder consider the action against OBL as an act of Justice.

They were not necessarily friends and they were not necessarily enemies. But they were/are Muslims, and Iran has been harboring a number of Bin Laden's operatives for years now.

I believe the intel we got will probably be worth far more than the kill itself.

This truly is a great moment, and a very patiently engineered military and propaganda victory for the USA as a nation. It is a vindication of its people, its military assets, its intelligence community, and even its leaders, past and present.

America's might, when its people are united in righteous determination, is an imposing, formidable, perilous thing. It is not to be trifled with or misunderestimated, even with mediocre leadership.

The worst American President on America's worst day is still infinitely preferable to these Euro-Marxists and Petty Tyrants who rule the rest of the world!

God Bless America: still the envy of the world! Live it, learn it, love it.

I share your concern regarding the possibility of an override of the CoC, or more specifically in this case, the CiC.

But there is no way in Hell, that after almost ten years of hunting that SOB, and after all the lives lost, those we know about and those we don’t, that they were going to let OBL slip through their fingers because we have a pantywaist Muslim loving CiC.

Sorry... Your transmission is garbled... Say again...

But Zero goong to take full credit for the kill, regardless of the tactics employed, and the people who put the wheels in motion; which at the time WAS a legitiment CiC.

So in that regard, they were carrying out orders.

The carcass should have been ground up and used as pig food. So should the carcass of the son who was killed at the scene, and the bodies of the other combatants.

It's a good pretext to pull the plug on Pakistan. Instead, the US mission will, in accordance to Barry's expressed wishes, be expanded from Afghanistan into Pakistan. Both "countries" should be carved up into autonomous ethnic enclaves, and the entire thing federated. Then the US should buy as much opium as they can produce (99% for immediate destruction) in order to undermine the Taliban. The Talis don't like opium growing, but they'd find hot lead as the consequence of trying to stop any armed Afghan farmer from growing it.
