Yes, you’re all right in the Santorum criticism.

Afteall, with four dollar a gallon gasoline, unemployment through the roof, they should all be really jovial and joking around.

I’ll turn off the sarcasm now.

Gary Johnson needs to go home and never be heard from again.

Read my lips: He's 100% toast, extra crispy.

Cain was the clear victor in tonight's debate.

That battle with cancer would make me hesitate to vote for Cain. I like him in this debate, but cancer has a nasty habit of coming back. What if he got near the finish line and appeared to be winning and the cancer recurred? We would be cooked. Nope. Too risky. Maybe he would be a good VP.

Pawlenty - not famous enough to win this time
Cain - not famous enough to win this time
Santorum - not famous enough to win this time
Johnson - not famous enough to win this time
Paul - IS famous enough to win this time

Frank Luntz focus groups likes Herman Cain. Frontrunner.

I agree with your analysis. Cain’s problem is he lost his only race for the Senate. Santorum’s problem is he’s a senator.

Governor Canabis is definitely 'metrosexual'. A definite non-starter. Mumbled something denigrating about Sarah Palin and his 'Alaska' show.

The rest of the cast were all 'minor leaguers'.

The all impressed at some level. But for me, this was more like a Vice-Presidential Debate, with Cain winning as the best choice for the number 2 spot on the Palin/Cain ticket.

HOLY COW.

Herman Cain just rounded up every one of Frank Luntz’s polling group.

All of them.

I missed the first 20 minutes because somebody needed a favor from me, but from what I heard, Herman Cain was the most impressive of these five candidates.

I agree, Cain clearly won this debate. I was also very impressed with him, this is the first time I actually paid total attention to him.

FOX has gone to Hannity featuring Frank Luntz and his panel. Cain wins in a huge landslide, having no support going in.

(correction)

Technically, Luntz clarified “more than half”.

Cain totally hit a home run.

the SC primary is open to independents. 440,000 voted in ‘08. What is the conservative organizational strategy for ‘12 primary? Phone banks?

that would be a major commitment by activists in support of the leading conservative candidate. It ain’t like IA or NH, lotsa people to call. Six CD’s. Mitt’s money could help him big here if he survives as a frontrunner. But he won’t.

I see that it's only Republicans in the room with Luntz, we should actually get a civilized conversation tonight.
