I agree with your analysis. Cain’s problem is he lost his only race for the Senate. Santorum’s problem is he’s a senator.

Santorum is a former senator and he lost his last race by 18 points.

Cain’s problem is he lost his only race for the Senate.

You should state the reason for all those that don't know Georgia Politics.

1.) The emerging Republican party felt that it owed its support to Isakson for being a longtime Republican in a state that was Yellow Dog Democrat since 1870.

2.) The Democrats had no chance to win the General Election so Democrats crossed over and voted for the RINO Isakson in our Republican primary.

3.) The Conservative vote was diluted in the primary, split between Cain and Collins, causing the milquetoast Isakson.
