I just liked Cain’s answers. He speaks in a way that demonstrates an organized mind — something missing in the typical politician’s repertoire. When politicians speak, they use a lot of words, yet say nothing.
Cain sounds like someone with almost too much common sense to even BE a politician. But we desperately NEED common sense applied to our problems.
I’m GLAD he hasn’t run for anything or held office. With all of that comes political game playing, more loyalty to special interests, and political speak. He can “hire” the experts around him and as he says, get the facts and make the best decision from there. What he could bring to it is the LEADERSHIP we need.
I felt he pointed out the inconsistencies in the Libya debaucle well, for example
Pawlenty addressed that issue; he expressed his change of heart on cap and trade....his sincerity will have to be judged by the individual.
None of the declared candidates are perfect, but I think most of them are decent people. None of them, I am certain, want to micromanage our lives—and that puts them LIGHTYEARS away from Hussein.
I’d like to see SOMEBODY ask The Messiah questions like this and not allow the rambling BS non answers stand. Ask the question again and again until Bozo answers it or gets frustrated and shows his true colors.
I agree with you about romney, gingrich and daniels. IMHO... if what we saw last night is our best hope... we are in deep kimchi.

I think conservatives should be a bit more focused in the primary scene in those states that have “open” primaries.
Obamugabe will NOT have an opponent of any strength to depose him as nominee. That means Dhimmicrats will cross-over in even greater numbers to dilute the Republican field.
Conservatives need to work hard in those states for the best candidate.

I too would have liked a better answer to that however no one on that stage has access to the intel that Obama does. How could anyone give a good answer to the question?
Yeah, I liked him too. Thought he was good. Paul, while on a lot of things he’s spot on, he’s a little too far out there for me. Thought I’d like Pawlenty and Santoram more, but they talked to much like the politicians that they are.
Simply not true (please note that lack of sources for your claims). Paul voted for the initial Afghan authorization for that reason though he turned against it when it became a nation building operation and it was clear Bin Laden wasn't there. Also he continually pushed the issuance of a letter of Marque and Reprisal. Had we done that, instead of relying the bureucrats, it wouldn't have taken ten years to get him!!!

He wouldn’t touch a debate moderated by the likes of Bret Baier and Fox contributors...he’s skeered of Fox. All Republican candidates shoud boycott andythin hosted by NPR or anyof the lefty sites that are the usual venues.
I wonder if Obama will be filling out ‘brackets’ on potential candidates? Last night’s debate was refreshing. And I’m glad Mitt and Hick weren’t there.
Cain didn’t show a lack of understanding of Afghanistan or Bin Laden. Cain had very well clear answers and well reasoned opinions.
In fact Cain crushed the others in the Luntz focus group. Cain’s experience and answers beat the career politicians he was competing against last night, at least with the voters.
Something tells me you’re spreading manure on this site about Cain - for who knows what reason. That’s what you’re doing.
He punted to the “experts” on an important issue like Afghanistan. God help us if he punts to the “experts” on such as issues as inflation and welfare.

As far as our relations with Pakistan, I would need a current CIA and defense briefing before forming an educated position on our relations going forward.
