Europe, and Britain, particularly are approaching the status of the city of Berlin at the very end. Their war is lost, their leaders are effectively neutered, their populations (at least the smart ones) are heading for the figurative Argentinian plains. There is nothing left to be done for Britain - it is lost.
The sad part is if this nations actually resisted, we could be somewhat triumphant with the takedown of Osama bin Laden. Now we are left to realize that our European allies could be the next base of operations for al qaeda and other extremists very shortly.
