Mr. Burns is a bit more robust physically than Herb.
But, but, I thought 2012 was supposed to be the DemocRAT's year! The media's been telling me so! < /new castradi mode off >
To where?
Neumann is already calling in to Sykes a bit later this AM. LOL!
Tommy Thompson’s “interest” in the seat should start up soon too.
Seattle maybe?
The Bucks have been a consistent money loser for Kohl can’t see him holding on to them now that its not politically necessary.
Is this Kohl connected with the Kohl’s department stores? They have some GREAT coupons. Sometimes they issue $10 coupons with no minimum purchase which means you can get $10 items for free. My closet is chock full of FREE T-shirts that I got with those coupons. Also it is still a good deal when they issue $10 coupons with minimum $20 purchase. Just wait for a sale and that coupon will get you stuff really cheap.
Kohl was not quite the hard-left lib Feingold was, but he was still a reliable member of the lib political cabal. Undoubtedly, outside lib and leftist forces will use this opportunity to pour millions into a campaign to get another lib elected. Ron Johnson won pretty handily last November, but it’s unknown what Republican will run to fill Kohl’s seat.
The one and only.
With all the other elections nationwide I’m curious if outside groups think WI will be worth the spending anymore. Can’t guarantee union funded victories anymore.
I also got a FREE jackknife at Kohl’s with one of those coupons.
No curiosity warranted. Of course the unions will pour everything they’ve got into this race. Obama will be at the top of the ticket. The fight over the budget, the Prossner race, the ongoing recalls - they are all trial runs for BO and the Left for next year.
What we want is a Dem bloodbath primary for the Kohl seat - Feingold, Ron Kind, Tom Barrett, among others. GOP should rally around one strong candidate.
Will his retirement affect my Kohl’s couponing? In the end, it all boils down to how it affects coupons. A senate retirement, wildfires, volcanic eruptions, etc.. My first thought is always how it will affect coupons.
With all of the other big races around the country can the national groups afford to do it here? Walkers budget will pass sooner or later and automatic deductions for union dues are eliminated with it...
I’ll be curious to see if there is a bloodbath on the Dem side...Feingold’s ego demands that he gets it and if he wants it he’ll get it.
GOP side will be a bloodbath if Mark Neumann gets in.
Michael Barone had a good short piece with a headline at the Washington Examiner this morning suggesting it is another rat (more like ‘Rat) fleeing a sinking ship.
Nope. He sold out a LONG time ago.
Presser right now.
“Better to leave early than too late”
Pretty much standard boilerplate statement.
ABN - Anybody but Newmann.
Thompson will be 71 the month of the election, that’s simply too old to start on a Senate career. He had ample opportunity to take out either Feingold (in ‘98) or Kohl (in ‘00) and chose not to.
+1
