Well, looks like Feingold may have a clear field to get the Dem nod for the other seat... and we’re going to have to get a strong candidate (meaning, no Mark Neumann retread).

I don't think that Paul Ryan will run and I'd rather he be Speaker of the House anyway. IMHO, state Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen is the best possible candidate. He has statewide name I.D. and won't have to give up his current office to win. He also won his current office in 2006, replacing a DemocRAT, and was reelected last year with 58% of the vote. He's a conservative who supports less-government agenda but he doesn't cut a strongly partisan image. What more could you want?
