A high school sophomore from New Jersey is challenging Rep. Michele Bachmann to a debate on civics and the U.S. Constitution. In an open letter to to Bachmann, Amy Myers of Cherry Hill, N.J., said, I have found quite a few of your statements regarding The Constitution of the United States, the quality of public school education and general U.S. civics matters to be factually incorrect, inaccurately applied or grossly distorted.
I, Amy Myers, do hereby challenge Representative Michele Bachmann to a Public Forum Debate and/or Fact Test on The Constitution of the United States, United States History and United States Civics, Myers wrote, according to a report by City Pages Nick Pinto

The letter-writer specifies absolutely ZERO errors by Bachman.
Next hippie-in-training, please, this one is extra defective.
Sounds like Amy is asking Bachman to pull her finger.
I have a feeling Bachmann would get smoked...
LOLLLL a 14-15 year old kid wants to debate her on the Constitution? I hope Governor Christie allows it and actually tries to get some air time for it, if Bachmann agrees to it as well.
Should definitely be interesting.
This little liberal might regret that if Bachmann takes her up on it.
It’s a NJ liberal trap; send the kid a nice letter, congratuation her for her patrotism and knowledge of the Constitution, a “pocket copy” of the Constitution, and go on your merry way.
Interesting. If only more Democrats would try to debate logical republicans maybe some people would take notice.
Dozens of highly qualified people have challenged Al Gore to debate global warming. He blows them off.
Why doesn’t the young lady also challenge the President???
It’s really hard to stand up in a public forum and say you’re in favor of humiliating a child in public, but Bachmann should make an exception in this case.
That's more meaningful than debating Obambi who's an illegal alien.
Because he knows all of his “arguments” would be proven to be 100% false.
Why is this even a story? Who cares what some random high school sophomore, whose parents must have give her an overblown sense of her own importance, thinks? Or says? Why should Bachman even acknowledge her existence? What kind of “newspaper” is the Minnesota Independent, anyway?
Impudent spawn.
Pat her on the head, ask her to come back and talk to her in a few years after she’s “paid her dues” in life.
Ignorant little twit.
Where were the high schoolers who wanted to debate the Constitution when the candidate was a half black bastard who had spent much of his formative years in a southeast Asia hellhole, who hadn’t even learned correct number of the states in the Union (57) or how to say the Pledge of Allegiance? Government schools will continue to send out the Obamatrons and fools.
Ignore them like their parents have!
And are Amy Myers’ parents good liberals???? Just wondering.............Did they put her up to this??? Just wondering............
Remember the 12 year old girl in 2004, who was in a group “Kids for Kerry”??? She spoke at the Democrat convention, and criticized Dick Cheney for saying a bad word. She wanted to give him a time out, I think?
Anyway, it turned out that her parents were very very liberal, and put the daughter up for a speaking role at the convention.
So wouldn’t be surprising if this girl has very very liberal parents, who want to use the daughter to make their political statement.
