cnn ^ | 5/21/11 | : CNN Political Producer Shannon Travis

Atlanta (CNN) – Using an urban phrase used to convey a sense of excitement, radio host and businessman Herman Cain emerged to throngs of supporters on Saturday and formally announced his presidential bid.

"Awww shucky ducky," the conservative Republican joked with the crowd in Atlanta's Centennial Olympic Park as he stepped out to applause and adoring chants.

Has CNN ever made it a point to call out any of Obama's URBAN PHARASES?

We all should get used to this Liberal code speak.... to try and minimalize Herman Cain. The Racists on the left and their media lackeys are going to go full bore trying to destroy him.

Herman Cain himself has been talking about “how he is a real black man”. He will remain a longshot. ...and why does he always look so sleepy?

Call the MSM out on it. I think a rally to support racial unity should take place on David Gregory’s lawn. Hold up signs calling him racist.

That’s how you beat them. Communists don’t like having their noses smacked with newspapers.

Reagan taught us that. How quickly we forget.

This will be interesting to see how they will try to deflect the racist card being tossed back at them. Especially since they are all most always the first ones to bring up race instead of ideas and what candidates believe and think.

That is what I like about Herman Cain.

He is a plain spoken man, he loves America, believes it to be the land of opportunity for all, and has the courage of his convictions.

He believes this country is on the wrong track and that he can turn it around and make it the great and noble country it was until Obama the apologist and appeaser took over.

After I heard his 31 minute speech in Atlanta I was so excited that I felt real hope and inspiration for the first time in a long time.

I like the way he talks.

He’s the real deal.

Urban phrases my a$$. I think this part is what they’re incensed about - “as he stepped out to applause and adoring chants”. Guess they loved it when it was BHO, but not when it’s another black man, right?

Any non-minority candidate we run against BHO will be called racist every single time they criticize him (Trump, for example), and I don’t think any of them have the stomach for it non-stop from now until Nov. ‘12. That’s another reason why Cain’s a great one to put up against the One - he has the guts to turn that “racist” thing back on THEM. It would be sweet and totally derail their planned strategy.

His little hiccup on FNS isn’t a big deal at this point. Does any intelligent person think BHO has “foreign policy acumen”??? His so-called foreign policy is slap our (few remaining) friends and kiss our (growing number of) murderous enemies. The bin Laden raid? A tribute to the prowess of our intel and military - not that of b. hussein obama.

You've been trying real hard to prop up Gingrich. Funny how you make such a big deal about a little non-political thing Cain says, yet spin away the immensely stupid and suicidal political things Newt has been spewing the last 2 weeks.

Were you one of his wives or mistresses? lol

I agree. Cain’s little hiccup on FNS was just that. A hiccup with no real importance or significance because the issues that are going to decide the upcoming election are the debt, jobs and the US economy.

Well, Obama may not use innocent colloquialisms, but Herman Cain sure wouldn’t be inviting rap groups like Common or Ludicris to the WH.

No I am sure he didn’t say that but Obama has used slang terms and other “URBAN” language... the media would never have used the term URBAN language with a liberal black man but they do it freely with a Conservative black man, simply put the white liberals in the media are racists, but they allow ideology to trump their racist hatred when it involves a liberal black man.

Maybe he (she?) works at Tiffanys? Newty owes them between 200K-500K on credit. They've gotta love him for that.

Newt is just getting warmed up, although he did have a bad week. As I look at potential second-choices...... I was totally willing to give Herman Cain a chance. Heck.... I even worked for Godfathers Pizza right after college until I got a job in my field. But..... why would he bring his race into it at all? Real black man? That comment alone is far more damaging than anything Newt has said so far. Is he planning to talk about what a real black man he is in predominately white neighborhoods? What is he going to say when David Gregory presses him on his “real black man” comments? There is no good answer. Don’t get too excited..... his best hope is a VP slot at this point.

Since Mr. Cain is an American with black skin, anyone who votes against him is obviously a racist. /s
