Let them get their token seat...it doesn’t matter in this Congress.

New York hangs onto the premise that the Democratic promise of spreading the wealth still has promise. Too bad...

Guess New York will be one of the first states to fall into unsustainable governance... Long live New York!

I’m honestly not surprised.

One of the lessons that our side has to learn from the 2010 elections is that even on a year very favorable to the GOP, it’s still important to nominate a strong candidate.

“Not being the democrat just isn’t enough.”

Democrat + Rino+ Tea Party = Democrat Seat

Rinse. Repeat. 2012

“Bammy+ Trump + (Cain=Palin)= “Bammy 2.0

THE most important thing facing the country ...is NOT who the GOP candidate will be...but whether Trump runs or not.

Dont know anything about this, however if this was a Republican district, does this mean that the Rats have cheated again? (Fraud?)

NY loves their spend and taxers.

This statement should be placed on their license plates and quarters.

Great, now we get to hear the liberal MSM spew that this election means that the country has turned against the Republicans and last November was just a fluke. That now the chance of Obama winning in 2012 has gone from 99% to 100% and also assures that the democrats will gain 100+ seats in Congress next election.

Of course it means none of that. It was a moderately Republican district in a liberal state, where the incumbent got caught in a sex scandal and resigned. Then the democrats poured a fortune into the race and still had to run a Faux tea party candidate to take the seat. This election has as much national bearing as those congressional seats that the dems won in 2009. Didn't help them a whole lot in November 2010 as I recall...

The GOP needs to attack Medicaid instead of Medicare spending. But that’s not going to happen.

Really, really bad loss.

I guess we touched the 3rd rail and all these voters who said they wanted to cut spending changed their minds when they realized it might slow down their own personal gravy trains.

I read an earlier story about this. Apparently the Republican candidate was a good, solid conservative, but some nitwit Tea Party boss nominated a Tea Party candidate who was actually further to the left.

If I understood correctly, this was not a fake Democrat Tea Party candidate, but a Tea Party boss whose nose was out of joint because the Republicans wouldn’t do what he told them.

If so, then the national Tea Party needs to take some kind of action. Or conservatives in New York.

It is Buffalo. I would not be surprised if the Democrats had a huge movement in the State college there.

I’m sure this will be the leading story on MSNBC tomorrow and they will all sway that this means that the tea party is officially done.

It’s a great day for the ruling class.

Now they can get back to the hard work of raising our taxes and taking our freedom. :)

Totally expected, not a surprise. NY voters are incapable of understanding that this TEA party choice was anti-TEA party.
