Monday night I visited with a close friend of "Governor Rick" about the office of President. He has been friends with Rick since childhood. He told me that the only way Rick would run for President is if the National Republican leadership came to him directly and asked. In the past Rick has taken some real bone headed positions that are not defensible, but he is pro business, for lower taxes, for smaller government and he has really been in Obozo's face. That said he needs to stay in Texas.
