Records released by the Pima County Sheriff's Department this week show that the four houses served with search warrants the morning of May 5 - when Jose Guerena was shot and killed by a SWAT team - are less than four miles apart and are all connected to the Guerena family.
And while initial reports were that doctors told the Guerena family that Jose had been shot 60 times, the Pima County medical examiner's preliminary report says he was shot 22 times. In its sole briefing on the incident, the Sheriff's Department said SWAT team members fired 71 rounds.
Aside from releasing more than 500 pages of documents about the incident, the department has remained mum since the May 10 briefing.
The raid netted drugs, large amounts of cash, bulletproof vests, about 30 cellphones and a stolen vehicle, records show, but no arrests have been made.

I don't know if this guy is innocent or guilty, but the larger issue here is the clumsy ass militarization of the police.
For one, we did better at this stuff in Iraq and Afghanistan, and the paramilitary door kicking thing was new to us at first. If I get my door kicked in when Obama decides that being a FReeper is domestic terrorism, I'd at least hope that I get gunned down with something closer to SEAL Team VI performance that this Tucson clown car circus.

That's kind of silly. Jose Guerena doesn't seem to have been distributing or part of a drug gang takedown and there is no evidence that he pointed his AR at the LEOs and he got 22 bullets in him.

The only thing coming from them that would surprise me would be the truth.
In closing, I would say that life goes on, decent individuals still get sick when they hear or read about incidents and jackboot lickers will continue to have sexual orgasms as thet defend their masters between licks.
But, incidents of this type will be ocurring more frequently.

Quite right...I’d only have a .357mag in my hand after jumping out of bed in my underwear and hearing explosions going off in my house after my wife woke my up in a a panic...And I didnt serve two tours in Iraq...I just live in a high crime area...
