Coyotes keep us from having the problems other states have with stray pets.

Now, if he had shot one of the "coyotes" driving trucks full of illegals into the country that might have been useful. And a credible sign that he was switching sides on amnesty.

Quote: “Now Perry is our saviour its seems. He is no Kay Bailey, but what is he exactly?”

He is a politician and as much as they lack ideological purity, they tend to win election to political office.

I work with many Americans of Mexican decent and they detest what they call 'wetbacks'.

Unfortunately these types seem to be in the minority. Most seem to side with the Democrats on immigration policy.

Bullshit, troll.

Texas teaparties elected representatives to push that bill and Goodhair made a political calculation that it would be unwise to oppose it.

If you attempt to attribute the hard work of Texas teapartiers to one of the people we are fighting again, I will call you on your crap again.

You got that, troll?

I’ve often wondered if Kay Bailey wasn’t set up as a stalking horse - to give Perry someone to run to the right of. If elected President he would, most likely, pimp for some form of amnesty thereby creating 12-20 million registered democrats overnight - in vulnerable southwest states.

He is a progressive sleeper, and should be allowed nowhere near the WH.

I would like to quit calling states that vote for the Reds blue, and states that vote for conservatives “red”.

Perry made be a ‘conservative’ Dem but my misguided Dem friends in Texas hate his guts.

That’s a plus for him, in my book.

ASA Vet can speak for himself, but I have seen him post the info on what constitutes a natural born citizen on every post about ANY candidate joining the race.

If you look you’ll see that his final line is a smack down of Islamo Bamma for NOT qualifying as a NBC—which I think is the point of his posts.

Thanks for posting this story as a reminder that Gov. Goodhair would likely be Jorge Arbusto v. 2.0, the last thing that conservatives need.

If someone from a huge border state cannot see the absolute necessity of strong immigration measures, they’re too dumb to get out of the rain or are hardened open-borders types.

Either way, avoid them at all costs.

P.S. Perry supported the voter in all of the past three legislative sessions, three years before the existence of the Tea Party. And during this session, he didn’t just go along with it, he made it an emergency item, along with eminient domain and sanctuary cities. So when you are throwing vile language and anencephalic personal insults around, you might want to get your facts straight.

I do not have to know you.

You posted an attempt to give Goodhair credit for legislation that was the work of his conservative rivals in Texas. You are not the least bit contrite about the attempt, and are instead trying to brazen it out after getting caught.

No I am not ashamed of calling you on your crap, and as long as you keep trying to sling it I will keep calling you on it.

But I know you. I see you on tv every now and then. You’re the crazy guy that makes us intelligent conservatives look bad.

I think we’re all wound up pretty tight over the raping of our country, but we need NOT to form circular firing squads.

Flightdeck made a factually correct statement and didn’t deserve to be called a troll.

FWIW I will never trust Rick Perry because I DO know his past record and I will never vote for him in a primary unless it’s him against Mitt or something like that.

Perry isn’t really a Conservative but, having been slapped down by real Conservatives, he seems to understand what he has to do. At least for now.

It bothers me that Savage and Rush both have been excited to see him enter the race since they both should know what he’s done in the past. It’s their job to know better.

Not everybody who follows politics knows what Perry has done in the past. That’s why it’s so important to inform our fellows about it without attacking them and possibly driving them away IMO.

No, sir. It isn’t bullshit. Perry declared that bill an emergency so Dewhurst could put it at the top of the Senate’s agenda. Certainly, Tea Party people pushed it too, but it could not have been fast-tracked without Perry.

I have loved having Rick Perry as our governor. His economic policies have kept us in good shape here. But he has been totally WRONG on several issues. And the immigration issue is one of them. He should be backing up Arizona’s fight to get our borders protected in the strongest manner possible.

I agree with him that our neighbor Mexico has been our partner. But those days are over. As late as 1996, our Mexican National neighbors were coming across our border in five fingers of migration that followed the crop harvest. And then they returned home to Mexico and homes they loved with the ability to live in high upper-middle class status in their country. They were producing a strong middle class for Mexico. They were an asset because they helped our farmers keep costs down, and at that time we could take the hit on their earnings leaving the country.

But then the commies figured out that if they opened up US entitlement programs, plus our educational system, they would create an unsustainable drain on our government by promoting a population growth of people in poverty. And so they encouraged the migrants to squat here, deliberately to attack the US middle class workforce and bring it down.

Perry has been good for Texas, but he is not strong enough, nor a decision-maker that we need in our White House because he has been wrong on some really critical issues. This legislative session had so many critical issues that he needed to wade in and get passed that are still sitting on the table.

Maybe you are correct in your original estimation of Rick Perry after all.... We need a real conservative who will champion the actions taken by Arizona in it's resistance to the invasion from Mexico, not somebody who will be a champion for the invader in the shameless hope of ingratiating himself with a significant bloc of voters.

“ASA Vet can speak for himself, but I have seen him post the info on what constitutes a natural born citizen on every post about ANY candidate joining the race.”

Then he ought to get his facts straight. There has never been a requirement for two citizen parents in US law, and the phrase NBC comes from an English common law term that included those born of alien parents.

We only have one potential that I know of tough on immigration. That would be Michele Bachmann. The rest are just like Juan McCain.
