As broadcast news programs over the weekend gave attention to Sarah Palins bus tour which was viewed as a possible prelude to a presidential run, NBC correspondent John Harwood had one of the most negative views of the former Alaska governors chances of being elected President as he appeared on Sundays NBC Nightly News and predicted that she "has next to zero chance of being elected President."
He went on to declare that most Republicans want her out of the race: "I think what Republicans hope most is that Sarah Palin clarifies before too long that she's not going to get into this race."

Then why bother covering her? If she’s a fringe candidate with no chance of being elected, (didn’t they also say that when she took out two governors to win in 2006?) why waste precious broadcast minutes on a nonfactor?
“I thought that NBC news was an outfit that was set up to report the news of the day.”
And if it’s a slow day, go out and invent some news!/s;)
Sounds like some serious wishful “thinking” going on with this obamabot.
SHUT up! Now! You, the so-called mainstream media, are NOT going to pick our candidate this time! YOU are not going to tell us what to think! I have one thing to say to the likes of the press....PAYBACKS ARE HELL! Now SHUT UP!! We will make pick our own candidate!
Don’t worry John - someone is going to knock your butt-boy out. Even if Sarah doesn’t run she will be traveling the country continuing to emasculate him. We also have Herman Cain who can go and speak to the young black people obama left behind with a 25% unemployment rate. The candidates we do have will be attacking his poor record every step of the way. Sorry John, but nabbing osama isn’t going to help obama. It’s the economy stupid. The American people aren’t as stupid as you think. First he throws Israel under the bus then he plays golf on Memorial day after his photo shoot. He didn’t even lay the wreath last year (guess he only does that in an election year). When he was overseas he didn’t even mention Joplin (until well after Bibi did). The people of Alabama are still waiting for the help he promised. Gas is over $4.00 a gallon (I know - Bush’s fault). People see through this transparent fraud - more than you think. The media better get on board with the truth because the independents seem to be coming around.
John Who?
Then what are the obots so terrified of then and who is John Hargalt?
Pray for America
Same chance of me watching NBC.
I love this. These people just wish Palin would just disappear.
Those who are old enough will remember how he was portrayed as a right-wing nutjob who would drag us into World War 3. They also made fun of his background, such as his "B" movies with chimpanzees, etc. So convinced were some Republicans that he was unelectable, that they convinced John Anderson to run a "maverick" third party campaign once Reagan had the nomination sewn up.
Don't forget that Reagan came close to the nomination in 1976 but the establishment Republicans were able to block it at the convention and nominate Gerald Ford instead. Establishment Republicans for some reason insist on pushing tired career politicians on us (Ford, Dole, McCain, etc.) who usually end up getting beat by a younger, more charismatic candidates.
Notice, that they don’t say that about Ron Paul. Heh, heh, heh. I love this.
If elected, she will put them out of business once and for all. Reagan’s press conferences were interesting enough but at the time he still needed them to get his message out.
“Next to Zero Chance of Being Elected President”
Well, considering Zero WAS elected president, I’d say that’s good news.
Boy are they scared .hitless!
He got that right!!
The liberal media hated Reagan. The liberal media hates Sarah Palin. The Obama pumpers are running scared.
Next to the Zero’s Chance?
