Good morning! It's Fleet Week here in NYC and I've had the honor of meeting many Sailors, Marines, and Coast Guardsmen. Thanks to all for their service. Had a great time in the City.
Enjoyed some great NY pizza with Donald Trump and his wife last night in a nice quiet setting, Times Square.
We're getting ready to fire up the bus for another beautiful day talking to Americans about the foundations of our great nation. Check back in throughout the day.

Afghanistan is not just about Islamists...it's a strategic location in the ME...and that the US will do what it takes to have some control of that environment...which is why we have invested so much money into their infastructure etc. However we are broke and their are other nations anxious to take over Aghanistan if we pull out. Russia didn't go at it for so many years for nothing.

I’d say Iraq is 50x the strategic location. Afghanis only have drugs and the wild Pakis at their border.

That unsourced photo has been making the rounds for quite a while. Yours is the first reference to anything about "a sexual bombshell redneck bimbo" in reference to it. You must not see much of Mrs. Palin in public. Today she is in pants a white blouse with black pants. Her daughter, Piper, is in kids attire, as she should be.
In my eyes, and most casual onlookers, the pic shows Gov. Palin changing her shoes on the stairs of AF1, with it's implications. I could understand your reasoning in those photos of her in running gear, etal, but "sexual bombshell redneck bimbo" doesn't come close in this one.
Your concern is noted, but will be ignored! That photo shows a good candidate, well loved by many, in the role we wish to see her! If you wnt to see all the trash photos of her, just Google for her name, click images at the top, and there are plenty. This one is hard to find! You must wade through the crap to find good flattering pics of her. It is definitely not unflattering, nor sexually charged in any sense.

Well we are permanent in Iraq...we’l never be out of there if you take a look at the size of our embassy ...it’s a city within a city.
When you observe the map you’ll see where Afghnistan is a strategic area. No doubt Pakistan would love to make it their own. Not to mention it’s location relative to China.
All leaders are players concerning afghanistan...especially with a pipeline planned across that nation.
Well we’ll have to disagree...as to how her public image might be taken. What I wrote is what I hear from those who oppose her. I work with liberals evvery day and many of my customers are as well.. I was just relaying what I hear...and they are saying such things about her..it is just not on the news or TV.
Maybe people aren’t posting these things because it won’t be taken well...I understand that. But I am going to arm myself with out is necessary to throw off the insults that are spoken...and not to be surprised when they come because they will get worse long before she’s elected.
BTW That was exactly what was said about that photo...just as I stated...I know because I was there when it was stated. You shouldn’t be surprised...those that hate her can be and are brutal.

Further her comments address an important topic for Palin to comment on, and one I wrongfully assumed would be significant to those who are interested in her policy statements...which seem to be coming thru ON TOUR as she determines to reveal them or comment.
However since you have made your claim to this thread...and pretty much made me to be an a** h**e...I'll leave and not return. I have never been accused of hijacking a thread..and you have insulted me greatly in doing that.
I have in the past not posted to Palin threads because the impression is if you're not in the apparent “In” crowd you are crowded out. Reasons span the globe. So you can be certain I will not let the door hit me in the butt on my way out.
Onyx,...So sorry but until this stuff stops happening on Palin threads where one cannot share or interject as on other threads...I again will not be posting. I know when I'm not welcomed... Hopefully this will cease to be in the future as the election draws near..
Meanwhile continue to ping me as you've so graciously done thus far. I do enjoy reading about Sarah and what she is doing. But there are some who make it hard to enjoy her threads or discuss her.
Liberals will always find something to say about her and a reason to hate her. Even before that picture they were calling her a bimbo. We’re not going to sway them anyway. They thought Reagan was stupid too, yet they’re unable to change his image with the people. He’s still very much beloved. Historically, our best presidents have been ordinary, commonsense citizens.
I think we should be proud we have such a strong leader who is also proud to be a woman. She sets a wonderful example for young girls. We’ve got to stop nitpicking at her like the left does. She’s just fine.

I spent a large chunk of yesterday afternoon calling Senators and Congressman and telling them it’s time to get the heck out of A-stan.
It is not worth one more American life, and we lost eight Americans over the long weekend there.
Enough! Karzai’s ridiculous restrictions have resulted in rules of engagement which are costing the lives of American combat troops.
We don’t need to keep protecting his sorry posterior any longer. The truth is, two weeks after we leave, the Taliban will be in control.
If they want their women to be covered up,unschooled and shot in the head in soccer stadium for the enjoyment of the mullahs, then to hell with all of them.
I hope there is a photo of Sarah without the park ranger. That is a beautiful picture of her.

I encourage you to visit her FaceBook site on a regular basis, as well as SarahPac, which is keeping up with the trip and other Palin stuff. They are updated constantly with the latest news and assorted trivia. Other sites are Conservatives4Palin, Twitter/Sarah Palin, et al.
