Marilyn Monroe as the greatest comedienne in the history of the screen.
Probably over the top but she WAS pretty funny in “Some Like it Hot”.
Kurt Loder of MTV News?
That is not surprising. In fact, it happens to me every time I am subjected to NPR.
I just finished an advance copy of this book last week. I applaud his sentiments. I think at times his Judaism gets overbearing. It’s not a particularly well organized book, more like a bunch of newspaper essays, some better than others. And (ugh) I agree with Loder that too often he marches into the mire of existential bogs.
I just can not believe that the righteous Left would ever use foul language.
They are always so considerate of others and would never demean or denigrate anyone even when they disagree.
Only the scum bags on the Right (AKA - Right Wing Extremists) resort to disgusting usage of the English language.
We should always applaud the intentions of the Left leaning spokesmen and loudly jeer whenever a Conservative or Tea Party member speaks (regardless of what they say or how they say it.)
I have been to speeches given by both groups and I learned that what the leftist speakers are always meant in humor and with the best of intentions.
The Tea Party Members are suspiciously polite but it is obvious to everyone concerned that they are thinking dirty thoughts and are mumbling profanities under their breath every minute.
Long live the thoughtful and considerate Democratic Left and be afraid of the devilish Tea Party Conservatives. They will slit your throat if they have the chance. I just know it.
Sounds like the other leftist/socialist that converted, George Orwell.
bkmk
I would think when it came to David Mamet, the foul-language alert was implicit already.
He is a got-dang genius to spend a lifetime on finally concluding the obvious.
The man should have been a rocket scientist.
Doh!
