I semi agree. This is the public apology to the wife presser. no resignation,i want to focus on my work. When the story refuses to die down in a few days we get the resignation.

You were right on this one. He did admit that he did it but he wont step down. That little weasel has a Napoleon complex and stepping down would be out of the question because he could no longer feed his super ego. His wife may dump him though - well, that is another time and another wager.
