With Mitch Daniels gone, the liberal media is gonna have to do something to help out the establishment republicans. We *KNOW* they don't want a repeat of the reagan years. We all have to be on the lookout for this.
I'm not saying that's exactly what they're doing here. I'm just getting people's attention so that others can see what I'm seeing, and either tell me I'm way off, or confirm that the media has done it once again.

Of course they are. They know he won’t win the election.

Short answer. YES.
Just listened to Wolfie ask Maitlin if this poll helps folks understand Mitt is the one to go with. lol ridiculous.

Yes.
Romney and his people think they can buy the conservatives (jazz up the base) with a Bachmann slot, a la McCain 2008 tactics.
This won’t work, the opponent is not the messiah anymore.
Next question.

Romney is not going to get the nomination despite the lying medias propaganda.
No doubt there will be a lot of crossover voting in the primaries, but there is no way that Romney pulls this out. Too many flaws, too much a Dole/McCain type.

They continue to ignore Mr. Cain. The MSM has their agenda and it is at odds with the Conservatives’ agenda: electing a true Conservative.

I believe so. Romney is a loser and they know it. McCain redux.

Mitt is the media darling, just like McCain before him. Any Republican candidate the MSM isn’t trying to destroy is a loser.

“is the pope catholic...?”
Of course they are..their priorities reflect the DC Oligarchy. Politically Romney is a white Obama.....just the way the Oligarchy likes it..
This election will formalize the Rinocrat Socialists/Fascists vs the Flyover Country Constitutionalists. Regardless of the outcome...the outline of our task as We the People will be clear after.

It's been obvious for some time that the left desperately wants Mitt Romney to be the designated loser to Barack Obama in the 2012 presidential election. On the other hand, they fear and loath Sarah Palin so they never stop announcing that she 'can't win' and has high disapproval numbers. I've heard some liberal pundits constantly claim that the GOP nominating Palin would be 'political suicide'. The Republican establishment (think Karl Rove) laps this up. So, to me (and many other FReepers) that the liberal media want Romney as the 2012 Republican presidential candidate is pretty clear. You always want to run against the weakest candidate. Notice that the liberal media clearly doesn't want Obama to have to run against Sarah Palin.
To: freedumb2003
Many on FR don’t like him either because he’s not Palin.
To: Halfmanhalfamazing
Is the liberal media trying to nominate Mitt Romney? I think they are. If Obama gets the nomination without a serious primary challenge, there will be nothing to stop the lefties from registering as Republicans and voting for whomever they want.
We need to come to some consensus of whom to support, or at least narrow it down to two or three at the most, to prevent them from choosing our candidate for us.

Yes, because he’s the most Obama like of the leading Republican contenders at this time. They know the Republican candidate will win over The Won.
