"Probably not for the 30,000-plus who crawl all over each other just to see her speak."

No kidding. I went to the Cederburg event after her 2008 GOP speech. The parking was closed, the ability to access her was closed, and I only live 20 miles from there. I figured, Heck, I'm only 20 miles away. Wrong.......

Sarah pisses off the women who are jealous of her success and beauty, and slimness, the kids, the family, hot hubby, all of it. She has everything the feminists told us we women could achieve, and they dis her. So sorry, she's a real woman, not a bra burning hippy. The media is doing a Reagan on her.

"Do you really believe rational thought and values based assessment have given us the President, House, and Senate we have today?"

Unfortunately, no.  However, sometimes people who have been fooled can recognize it and refuse to be fooled again.  Not all voters, of course, but a certain number of voters (they are usually called "swing voters").

The easily swayed voters were fooled big time in 2008 and are beginning (some of them) to wake up to that fact.  Many of these folks voted against Obama's policies in the 2010 elections.  My hope is that an even larger number of this group will wake up (and the economy is the catalyst for some to wake up) and vote for whoever is running against Obama.

An example of where this has historical precedent:  a lot of folks who had supported Carter (why, he was just a good-hearted Christian man, etc) turned into Reagan Democrats and help Reagan sweep the electoral votes in 1980 and 1984.

Could be wrong, but that's what I am hoping for.

Barbara Stanwyck and all her ‘pre-code’ movies. Aren’t they great? I’m so glad TCM is showing them.

I’ve been trying to get more silents, we have about 50 or so, you really have to pay attention to them.

I’m not a fan of Marx Brothers, I think it’s a guy thing. Then again, I’m not a fan of Laural and Hardy.

I love, love, love the old British films. One of my fav’s is Brief Encounter.

Another good one is ‘Ace in the Hole’ and ‘The Best Years of our Lives’. Boy, Dana Andrews, what a sad story.

The original ‘A Star is Born’. Arsenic and Old Lace, what fun! I could go on and on.

If you record TCM, you probably know, February is Oscar month, playing all the Oscar movies. It’s a great month for recording.

Your more of the classics.... I’m more of class clowns variants for movies. Old slap stick Buster Keaton an westerns an war movies. I have a bunch an we play em on the wall in our backyard at night for pool parties an BBQ nights in the summer.

I will never get through em all but I’m trying...

Stay Safe...
