SAN JOSE (CBS SF) – At least two people were stabbed and hospitalized, and three others injured after a massive brawl involving dozens of people broke out in the parking lot of a McDonald’s near San Jose State University.
The fight happened around 10 p.m. about a block away from the university on the corner of San Jose and Third Streets, and just hours after a free downtown concert let out.
Police said a small crowd started gathering before it quickly turned into a mob of more than 100 people, many of who began screaming, yelling, and throwing punches when a fight broke out.

Well, the article said that there were fights between Hispanic and black people, which escalated into a brawl.
Can either side be charged with a hate crime? Just wondering. What if two officially recognized aggrieved minorities battle each other? Can both be charged with hate crimes????????

oh I get it. I’m slow on the uptake. McDonald’s gets sued because they have deep pockets and the brawl happened on their premises. I am catching on, I think???

Let them kill each other off, then come in and arrest all involved and still breathing. Either way, you’re making the streets safe for the public.
When there is a group like that, about to brawl, Macdonalds should throw some pool cues into the mix and tell them that they will hire the survivors.
Whoever gets hired will be very good at upsales, because nobody would dare say no.
